Faking degree's and transcripts is the only way to do things. Spent a good amount of time learning how to do it properly, but so much better than 4 years and 40 grand. Giving away a free "replica" to anyone that gets dubs.

What companies are easiest to evaluate using the DCF model?

I am doing a university assignment, but I am not quite sure which companies to chose. I am leaning against Chipotle, due to the absence of debt, but it has a lot of trouble, and there are going to be a lot of assumptions included in the model regarding the forecasts of future cash flows.

I could chose a large and slow, growth company like Wal-Mart, but they probably have a lot of complex debt in their financing structure.

Any tips for what kind of companies I should pick?

Hi anons. Where can I find a map of the places where EB-5 Visa can be applied in California (I know that you have to invest $500'000 in a highly unemplyed area).
Can I live in Malibu or San Francisco and build the company in another place where is allowed?

just do the 1m thing

you can go to a VC, and instead of them buying the shares from the company, they buy them from YOU, wich means you have 1m to invest (you can found a company without residence or citizenship, some states even w/o ID)
but see a tax attorny. it probably has some kind of investment capital gains or whatever implications if you ever sell the company.

So, buy voo then? Good long term buy, resonable dividends? Seems like the best etf around now

No buy the total market etf for better exposure to small caps if you think the market is poised to do well.

Long term, I'm not sure which would be better.

What's yours? i'm new to all this and am just wondering how much luck some of you faggots have had.

I have this Chinese co-worker who invested in some milk company somewhat recently, stocks went from $2 to $16 due to china buying it all due to their 1 baby cap disappearing.

Went home with a nice cash cow from that obviously.

Who said anything about government? If it were up to the government Bitcoin would already be dead. Bitcoin will succeed in face of TBTB.

>Are you okay accepting >50% less pay than what the previous employee made for the same position?

Fucking life.

Finally got a promotion offer to my dream job. My Boss made $200K a year. He retired and they were looking for a replacement and offered it to me, but only offered a $60K salary, $12K more than I make now.

Fuck

Shit

To be fair though. He had probably had the position for quite a few years already. If you hold it for as long and ask for annual raises, then maybe when you retire you will also be making the same.

He's been there since the company started in the 90s and goes on vacation with the owner/ceo. It's a smaller company that does contract work for Merck. It was stupid of me to be surprised of the low offer really. They recently replaced the Marketing manager with a $35K/year college graduate.

"Billions" is a great show. Just finished watching the full season on Kodi. Totally recommend it. Damien Lewis is amazing and Paul Giamatti is.... well, he's Giamatti. Enough said.

Does anyone know how hard it is to get get a large loan? I want about 400k for a business idea but obviously I cant just waltz in and get it, I've got a 150k in savings and the loan would be for heavy plant like trucks and generators so can it be secured against them ? Or will I need something like a house to sign over? My dad does have a 500k house and said he could act as guarantor , if he did that could I find a bank to literally just give me 3-400k cash? Although realistically I don't think I could ever do that to him.

You almost never want to sign over personal guarantees for a business. Especially not a home. Its not a very good yolo.

Go talk to the Small business Association rep at your local chamber of commerce. They will help solidify your business plan for a lender/partner presentation.

If its an existing business that you're doing a value added play the SBA guarantees loans up to 20M without special consideration or accounting.
A new business can get 5 Million with the proper paperwork.

Hey /biz/, I got a question about phantom shares.

So, a company I used to work for gave me 500 phantom shares as a bonus one Christmas. About 6 months later, the company got bought out and I got laid off. They sent out an email saying that the company that bought them out would be paying them a lump sum payment every month for the next three years, plus royalties every quarter for the next four years. They also said that once all the debts of the company I worked for were paid off, distributions to employees in the phantom share plan would begin. They estimated that even with no royalties being paid to the company, they would have the debt paid off after about 18 months.

Well, it's been over 18 months now, and I hadn't heard anything since I got laid off, so I decided to call up the company that bought us out and figure out what's happening with the phantom share plan. After talking with someone there, I learned that the company that bought us out hasn't been making a profit off the products we made, so they stopped sending payments to the company I worked for. Now, maybe he meant the royalties and not the lump sum payment, but all I know is that it's been about 20 months since I got laid off and that's the only news I've heard from anyone since then.

So my question is: can they actually do that? I mean, they bought the company out, they have to at least pay the lump sum, don't they? My old company gave me an email address to send to in case I moved, and I emailed them about a year ago when I did, but I haven't heard anything out of that either. Not even a confirmation that they got my change of address. Would there be anyone I could get in contact with to figure out exactly what's going on? Am I just screwed?

Has anyone else ever been in a similar situation?

you could try filing a lawsuit

This is why phantom shares are basically a joke.

Anyway, do you have any paperwork showing this phantom share plan? Any emails backing up what you are saying?

I would talk to a lawyer.

How much money are we talking here anyway?
