I'm currently 24 with a degree in Information Systems, which I feel is basically useless because I didn't learn anything useful in college. I haven't found a job and live with my parents, and I've been out of college for almost a year now. I tried joining the airforce, but they disqualified me due to a skin condition that I don't have.
A friend of mine just got me to go to one of Leadership Team Development's sessions. What is /biz/ experience with these people? I know it is like a pyramid scheme, but is that necessarily a bad thing?
>>1240284
don't do it!!! Once you have a degree any NEET time is completely toxic. Apply for any tech job, even if it doesn't require a degree.
If you don't feel like you learned anything, quality engineering (quality assurance analyst) is the perfect position for you.
>>1240296
well I can always put that I worked for my mom's business on my resume, (she runs her own business) should I do that? Also I have applied to tons of tech jobs. They just look at my resume, see I've only worked in retail part time in highschool and am unemployed and they toss me out.
>>1240312
absolutely do that.
also take a SQL class at one of those free online coding schools like code academy so you can list that on your resume as a skill. you should be able to have a basic grasp on it in a weekend. lots of employers want SQL experience.
First OECD PISA financial literacy test finds many young people confused by money matters.
Around one in seven students in the 13 OECD countries and economies that took part in the first OECD PISA international assessment of financial literacy are unable to make even simple decisions about everyday spending, and only one in ten can solve complex financial tasks.

Does requiring a signature when selling on eBay reduce your chances of getting charge back scammed?
>>1240194
Yes. Certified mail is the only way you should be shipping items through ebay. You can track it and verify someone signed for it on the other end. You still are not totally protected from chargebacks but you can make a valid case in small claims court.
>>1240198
you are a moron
>>1240194
ebay requires you to get a signature for high dollar items. if you don't, you'll lose any claim.
other than that, there is no reason to do it unless you just want to psych out a buyer (unlikely to work on the type of person dumb enough to scam through ebay anyway).
So i remembred a tweet from 2014 - 2015 were a journalist was saying that a person who invested 10k in the UBER seed investment would have now a share of 80milion. but no counting the dilution.
so wtf, how ir it possible and wtf dilution have to do with it? im know to stock markets and IPOs an things but can someone explain me this movements?
>>1240098
>how ir it possible
A company that starts from nothing and suddenly becomes a commonplace service over a few years can theoretically grow by a factor of 8000. Uber is valued in the BILLIONS. If it started at 1 million, it would only need to be worth 8 billion now for that to be the case. It's really not hard to imagine.
>>1240114
Yes i know, but why the focus on "delution", how does it infuence in the contracts, IPOs, cash and value of a companie

The prices of oil and natural gas are about to decline precipitously.
LONG is WRONG.

but don't commodities rise with inflation?

Have any of guys been on shark tank or know somebody who has? How was your/their experience?
Look up Allison Devane on shark tank. I was her classmate and it feels good watching a popular girl tank (lol) so hard because I'm a lonely weaboo faggot who wants the women he wanted to date fail. Speaking of weebshit, her cosplaying sister is hella cute.
hahaha I remember seeing her actually. Pretty fine though

So I'm graduating highschool next month and while most of my friends are going to college, I plan on starting my own business by next year. I never agreed with the way formal education was set up with so many flaws in today's educational system which I can go on and on about. Most people I assume go to college to take the safe road in life because they think a piece of fancy paper will give them job security for life with benefits. (Which is funny to me because many college students don't even have a job lined up after graduation( not to mention the shit ton of...

How would I go about starting a bike share business in an urban area? There's a clear demand for it in LA, but I've yet to see any available.
Any anons have any experience with bikeshare systems?
>>1239944
I know that the state has put up a lot of these in Denmark, and that they're barely used. However they're often vandalized.
I'll almost guarantee you that it'll be shitty for you.
The problem with bike rentals is that where people want bikes is not often where they take them to. You now need trucks to load them up and shuffle them around.
This costs time, money, and resources, and a bike sharing system isn't likely to have a lot of the two latter.
Wow, LA, quite the ballsy choice. Aren't you worried about people being hit by cars while on your bike?
I'd think the danger factor would stifle any interest in bikes.

Hey biz i need your help
Im 20 y.o and work at an industrial plant, i basically press a button once or twice every hour. What can i do , with only my iphone (no audio, machines too loud) for biz, money and happiness gains? Any good books?
What would you do??
I bet you could double or triple your income just by making an app. Something like uber, but instead you get paid for providing blowjobs.
If you get plugfones you can listen to audio and have earplugs in at the same time. Look them up
As for your situation - read books, analyst opinions, technical analyses, etc.

make an app that pushes the button instead of you?
So I own a Sex Toy retail website and want to have 5% of profits to a charity. Its between Saint Judes Childrens Hospital or HIV awareness. The HIV awareness fits more with my business but the Saint Judes is more known and easier to get in contact with with donations. What do you guys think?
Donate to innocent children with a future, not doomed degenerates who dick-sucked themselves to death.
Something related to sex is way better because you have an angle to work with if you market this charity thing

Basically it. Fuck AIDS. Help poor children who had no choice rather than gays who stuck dicks in the ass until get sick.
In anticipation of the whole world adopting btc (please restrain from telling me why that won't happen, let us assume it will happen for the sake of the thread) there will be a whole new spectrum of business opportunities that can be occupied before the broad mass (the btc doubter businessmen) comes along and starts contesting your pie for their slice.
What are these? One I could think of would be an escrow service, that offers to protect their clients during a business transaction, and withholds funds/product until both parties greenlight the transaction, then takes...

Ethereum allows very new business models. Entirely new and incredibly useful financial transactions and business incentives.
The DAO will build many useful applications on ethereum in a short time that will allow many entirely new opportunities for cost saving and speeding up business transactions.
