What's the most cost effective form of early advertising for a tiny tiny business, (in home and business tech support). My overhead is covered, but I really don't make enough to be chucking out 1'000's of burgerdollars every month on advertising.
What's the most cost effective bang for buck advertising method(s)?
Putting up leaflets in stores?
>>1324587
I've considered it, is there a good service you'd recommend for getting some, somewhat professional looking flyers printed up? I'll look around for some local services but they might not offer as much.
>>1324606
Go to a uni/collage and get a graphic disginer.
collage kids will ask for less money, just leave a shit leaflet in a collage saying you want a GD.
I might be looking and opportunity in the eyes, but I can't see how to take advantage from it.
I work in a small business that sells computer parts and the boss have a online store, but he doesn't take care of it and it has potencial to grow. In fact, we he launch the online store it was selling more than the "real" store.
I am thinking about something like "I'll take care of the website, marketing it, keeping it updated and all and I keep 10% from the profits.".
Is this the best approach?
Also, I have experience in all the things I'll be putting myself in.
First and last self bump.
Why don't you just sell through Amazon or other market places as well?
10% is low if it actually has potential but I'd understand if that was low just to get him to buy in.
>>1324515
just steal the customers and make your own site selling the same shit
it's not personal nigga it's just business.
Should I buy a house?
I'm a truck driver and have been doing it for almost 5 years. I've been OTR so I was on the road 24/7 never taking home time. But I just got a dedicated account making more money and I already have $118K in savings. My job allows me to be home on some nights during the week and every weekend. I'm currently just staying with my Dad again.
Is it worth it to invest in a house? I would be required to establish residence within 100 miles of Richmond, VA. Is there any good housing markets in the area?
I don't see why you would buy a house right now. Stay in hotels when you need to. Just keep saving money until you can retire, then buy a house where you want to retire.
>>1324372
Do you own your truck?
Why not invest in your "rig" first work for yourself so you make even more "OTR" big buddy
>>1324372
First I wanted to say I don't know how you do it. I tried Flatbeding for two months before I had to call it quits.
I would only buy a house if you absolutely must. If your only going to be there that infrequently you should try to rent a room or find a cheap apartment.
Houses are not investments, and if this isn't your ideal location I would put off buying.
Money is good and shit. Waiting for fucking sarcastic 12 year old reaction.

What does /biz/ think of my business idea?
>Reinforce styrafoam so it can be washed then reformed into other things like cups and silverwear all in your home
>call the product "magicraft" ir some catchy name
>after a year or so, after capital explodes from people continuiously buying our shit, we start to lower the quality of the product

You know 3d printers exist right?

The thing with 3D printers is that they cost too much. Our objective at Log of Shit Financial is to ensure the consumers have a reliable product at a reliable price.

Don't worry, I lost 5 btc on pepecoin. Atleast it wasn't every penny I had.
Lol
>>1323774
hold for a few months mate. the calls of $1 may be high, but 20 to 50 cents is achievable with shilling over the summer. meme action will see it get public recognition on the scale of Dogecoin. (lol). don't sell at anything less than 10 times.
How do I get a nice settlement out of some jew corporation?
I know almost all of them would rather pay out some hush money than fight a regular person in court. If I just hurt myself using some product and then sue can I get paid
Settlements are often based on lost earnings.
If you're a neet with no dependents then any settlement will be comparatively low. Unless you do permanent damage to yourself.
>>1323740
I am willing
>>1323744
I dunno. Take a bath while making toast.
Hi,
I have about 420-440k. I got a DUI and now I can not work in the USA (no one will hire me).
Working at McDonalds sounds shitty. Opening a McDonalds sounds risky, and I can not get a job as a tradesman (bad driving record).
Should I just retire to Phillippines for three years and fuck asian girls, come back to USA when my driving record is cleaner?
>>1323674
>Should I just retire to Phillippines for three years and fuck asian girls, come back to USA when my driving record is cleaner?
Yup, sounds like a pretty good plan.
>>1323674
Why can't you just work somewhere close and walk or bike there?
No one will hire me do to misdemeanor on my record.
My driving record is shit now, and I can not pass a background check (misdemeanor!)
Hello everyone! Has Lady Luck smiled upon you today?
I will give $1 USD in bitcoin for anyone who can provide trips (3 digit consecutive numbers in postcount)

Why the fuck does White Collar crime have such low penalties while being by far the most lucrative?
>Sell drugs
>Get like 5 years because of mandatory sentencing minimums
>Rob a gas station/bank with a weapon
>Literally 10 years in prison for stealing $1000-3000 AT MOST
>Commit financial crimes and steal $10million+
>Maybe 3-5 years if you even get caught and you get into a comfy...

Because the people most likely to do massive white collar crime are the same people that move in the same circles as the law makers and the upper echelons of society.
>>1323372
not killing anyone or being arrested with weapons generally helps
>>1323372
I'm guessing the people who embezzle don't have to pistol whip their victims and make them shit themselves.
