My trade pattern has been refined over the last 4 months. I have a way to go 20 trades a month no problem.
On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I day trade. Buy at 8:40-8:42 AM, sell between 11-12:30 PM before the lunch slowdown.
On Monday and Wednesday, buy again at 1-2 PM or at a news release, and hold overnight. Sell Tuesday and Thursday morning with no other trades for the day.
You'll miss SOME meme rockets, but you'll get steady gains almost all the time.
