a) Require mandatory basic military training for the entire Australian workforce during secondary schooling so as to avoid disrupting GDP output. Therefore having an exponentially larger combat familiar population.

Suppose I start a publicly traded LLC with a fixed address and phone line.

LLCs can't issue stock for trade. The term shareholder is different than in a corporation. You'd need to form a C-corp, maybe an S-corp.

Could I possibly get a bit of help here? Ive been touching up the ol resume as my current job is drawing to a close soon.

I'm 18 years old working for my parents, and eventually in the next decade or so I'm going to take over their company. Now the problem is, it's in a trade which I have no interest in. Got an idea for low power embedded computer solutions for semi-developed countries (maybe too high tech and want to be at municipal level) and engineers without borders already do this stuff, but I'm interested to see if money can be made from helping people.
Im not being a dick, but there is a reason all of the groups that do this kind of work are non-profit and live on donations and funding.
One of the most important things being researched right now is how to bring clean water to third world countries. The problem is, no one is going to "buy" your solution if you come up with one. You could create a system that would save billions of lives in the next 3 decades... and you wouldnt make a single penny from it. The only way to do it is heavy government funding and donations from billionaires who feel bad for having that much money
Hey /biz/, I just need a little reassurance by people who have an educated opinion. Yes this is about mutual funds and yes I know its not a loss untill I sell. But I've lost around 1,000$ this month in the span of 20 days. I put my life savings into a tsfa, and now I've lost more money then I put in. I don't understand the concept.
