Some "inventor" contacted me a few days ago, I'm a freelancing programmer (I'm a student so now time for actual job).

I mean, 20% sounds like a small share, especially when he said that he plans to expand his firm, and if/when I continue working with him, I might recruit some people who'd be paid a regular salary and I only kinda supervise them, like lead programmer or whatever. Does that mean that he has to make me sign for each and every product? (because currently the contract I'm reading is only about 1 product)

Considered it after college (I'd met a lot of Engrish teachers while there for a year during my undergrad), but decided against it - I'd be a year down the line with no real experience to show for it.
Looking back, it could have been a good option, may consider it for a career break or something.

It's only worth it if you actually believe in the concept of social proof.
But then, you'd want to buy or build at least 10k follower accounts.
That's about the point where you generate a decent amount of natural traction.

I already have around 20-80 faves on average when I post my art since I have around 400 real followers that actually like my stuff and all, but I want to build up my numbers now in hopes of getting slightly more exposure.
