Is buying Amazon land a good investment?
I can get properties near rivers for $0,33/m2. By dividing Earth's area by the human population, we find that each person got about 70m2, by investing something like $5000, I would be part of the 1% that owns a shit ton of good land.
What /biz/ thinks about my strategy?
Seems like it could work. Only problem is that it wouldn't make you any money until some company offers to buy it at a significantly higher price than you got it for, which isn't likely for another 10-15 years.
No idea about the investment part, but owning part of the Amazon would be pretty cool.

There isn't enough evidence to prove this, but it's a decent proposal. The guy that invented Bitcoin would need to be some kind of genius since such a technological breakthrought only happens in like every 100+ years. The chances of you getting a return on an investment more than the rate you'll be paying on the loans is slim. You have any other student loans? You should be responsible with the money and pay towards loans that are accruing interest since Uncle Sam is covering the interest on this one right now.
