Is it worth majoring in Economics versus Finance or Accounting?
Economics kind of seems like a meme broad subject but stats seem to show it's among the most highly paid.
What kind of jobs can Econ majors get generally? How do they differ from those that Financefags do?

I have sweet credentials and am about to graduate, but I'm anxious and terrified about not lining up a job before I graduate.
Lol. A masters in finance can be summed up on like 5 pages. Its is just a meme.
Graduated with econ degree, make 53k after my one year raise. Basically do micro/macro analysis on various industries and publish tables on those industries.

If it makes you feel better I majored in economics and found a job easily. I get 8 bucks an hour to calculate the cooking time of French fries for my clients wanting to exchange fiat for potatoes. My mentor Carlos says I'm a natural.

I have to talk to companies sometimes and it gets kinda boring sometimes. But right now I have my headphones in shit posting via Clover on my phone and nobody ever bothers me because I get my work done. I could telework if I want, flexible schedule too.
I work for the federal government, though I remember large insurance companies when I interviewed for geico had something similar. But instead of studying industries, you studied various type of insurance in different parts of the country and publish reports.

Aren't Masters for people who already know the field? I've done some cursory reading into economics, looked up a few resources that one of the economics lecturer's at my local university told me about.
Can I go right into a Master's and get a degree that'll land me a job?
