Holy shit TurboTax sucks this year.
Anyone else had issues with them? I've done my taxes for 4 years with Turbotax and never had a single issue.
Then this year, I have spent 18 total hours on the phone with tech support going over the online program trying to get my taxes filed. The final result was me mail-filing both tax returns, and the return says I owned a farm last year. Holy shit what the fuck happened?
They have sucked for years. And they've gotten to be so expensive that the suckiness is not worth it anymore. I switched to TaxAct because they are cheap. These programs are just glorified calculators after all. I'd do my taxes by hand again before I'd use TurboTax again.

Is this just a meme? I'm NOT the most stock market savvy person even though I've been educating myself for the past few months. I've seen gains of a few hundred bucks, but the main gain I've made is that now I am enthusiastic about setting aside large chunks of my money to invest.
I'm young and I can afford to take risks right now. Are there actually any GOOD automated brokerage services where stocks are purchased for you based on a risk factor you set??

Try to use less "I" do it more unpersonal. And I personally don't like this sentence: "Please consider..."

Write more about what you've done previously in relation to what you can bring to the role and don't say things like "Please consider" or "I believe ___". Instead put something like "I appreciate your consideration" and "(Preexisting knowledge in X) to apply to the role of Y"
My bad work experience aside, this landed me a job in big ticket sales and I wasn't short of interviews.

What I meant was in relation specifically to the supervisory role since I assume you haven't been in management previously and saying you believe X skill will help you doesn't sound as good as just saying X skill will help you if that makes sense.

Is full time day trading from home a meme or can you make a comfortable living doing this? I'm looking to get into a well-paying trade and study economics and financial markets in my spare time. The idea is to hopefully not be retarded after some years when I have saved up a decent capital base to start trading, and try to turn it into a full time job. Is this realistic if I work hard or is it a pipe dream?
You can do it OP, but look in to financial modelling and software a lot before trying it. Also, you'll need a shitload of cash to try it.

I started a subscription box service about 18 months ago. My original intention was to use the subscription model as an advertising vehicle for an online shop. I'd benefit in two ways: 1. because subscription boxes are super popular right now it's really easy to collab with big number bloggers, and 2. since I'm buying a lot of the same shit in bulk I can skip going to the wholesalers and get things directly from importers, bringing my costs down.

Actually you could also offer a higher price but similar margin line of boxes, like a deluxe pack. Your margins will still suck, but you'll be making more net profit per box anyway.

The worst mistake you can make is to sit on your business when it's time to grow. Hire a few people, pay them .25/box or whatever, the rest is all profit for no work. Now you can spend time finding new markets and growing even more.

You could do something in ecommerce if you have the resolve and focus to teach yourself. Also depending on where you live you could just get a job with an employer that offers 'equal opportunity' and they legally can't fire you for anything related to your condition.

She received $350,000 in inheritance from her parents, and she's been living off that for the past 9 years. She's been very smart about it, she doesn't spend a lot and tries to make every dollar count, but between food and rent and transportation and other miscellaneous living expenses, she's down to her last $50,000.
She has a medical condition that makes it almost impossible for her to find work. When she is working, her jobs all tend to be minimum wage since she has no real experience in the workforce. However, she's not eligible for any kind of welfare because she has so much money in the bank, and she's not eligible for unemployment or disability because she hasn't worked long enough. She'll be eligible for social security next year, but she'd only be getting $300 per month because she's worked so little and a lot of her jobs were off the books.
She's getting really worried about her money running out, and it's making her increasingly depressed and emotionally unstable, which just makes it even harder for her to find work. I'm really worried about her too. I'm a broke grad student and I can barely afford to support myself right now, I can't support her too. I feel like there has to be a smarter way to use the money she has to secure her future, maybe through investments or something, but I don't know what. Can anyone with experience managing a big but constantly dwindling pile of money help me out?
