I'm looking to get a g35 coupe please redpill me and why should I not get it,or why should I
Why not a g37?
>redpill me
are you black, asian or a minority in general?
if so, get a g35 coupe.
otherwise, get something that's actually fun to drive.
>>14681228
I like the body and overall look of the g35,though I do like the interior of a g37
So my friend stupidly bought a v6 91 camaro. We are planning on doing a v8 swap.
>Has anyone on /o/ done this before?
>will I need a new transmission to go with a 5 liter v8 from an rs camaro?
>Do we need new engine mounts?
Pic related is his new car
>>14681017
Stop bullshitting and just admit that it's YOUR car.
>>14681026
It honestly isn't. I like the car, but I'm not retarded enough to buy a v6 muscle car
>>14681017
That's a nice Volvo
ITT: best in their class cars.
That's not the 500 Abarth.
>>14680951
Only true Muscle Car
>>14680961
You're right. The Abarths are in the show getting warranty work done.

I know exactly how you feel.
Unlike you I just trusted my gut and bought my Z, I don't regret it at all even though I have had to put in a lot of work to get it nice.
z31's are nice and I hope maybe to have one someday sitting next to my S30
>have any of you anons ever felt if you got something your life would be different?

>>14680863
Ive thought like you too but more when I was younger and didnt have any car at all.
>that i could easily fix after googling the problems
It's not really that easy.
>I would be happy just sitting inside it
IVE SPENT ALL MY MONEY ON PARTS AND YOU STILL WONT RUN YOU CUNT
I'm looking for a sporty 2 seater from $8,000 to $12,000
I've found a 350Z near me with around 70k miles, but I'm worried the insurance will be insane.
What would /o/ get as a sporty daily driver. (The city I live in has a good bus system, so) it's mainly for dates and the occasional big grocery trip/going out of town.
Can't for much groceries in that thing. Insurance will be shit especially if you're young which I assume you are. Living with parents still? College? Just accept that you aren't financially ready for that kind of car while still holding new adult responsibilities.
you could get a older corvette for around 10,000

Anyone have any experience with the CTS (non V)? I'd rather have a V of course but can't spend $45k on one, and I only want the wagon. I unfortunately have to get some kind of practical car towards the end of this year, chances are it's either going to be this or an early Quattroporte
>>14680404
I look forward to driving mine every day.
>>14680404
As some one who supposedly works on Maseratis, you should know already why that's a bad idea.
Those CTS are pretty nice though, the 3.6 is a good motor
Why ask /o/? You should know better
get a lexus
Can someone explain to me why Megasquirts are so expensive when there are smartphones with more tech and power in them while being $200-400 cheaper?
I feel like they're overpriced because they know people will still but them

Why do Canadians buy so many Mitsubishis while the US doesn't even touch them?
>>14679915
They do? I see way more Suzuki's than Mistu's and they haven't been made in a while.
Canada is like 90% immigrants so I guess they buy what they drive in their home country. Doesn't really make sense though because Shitsubishi's aren't exactly cheap.
Was it really necessary to start another thread? Fucking Canadians
>>14679958
The grammar error was bothering me
Why do auto enthusiasts hate on a car that isn't meant to appeal to them?
>>14679768
Because sometimes they're outdated like pic related.
...because they try to make it look like it would when it's a slow turd.
>>14679780
>slow turd
It isn't meant to be fast, that's OPs point.
Okay /o/, let's have one of these for funsies.
You need to pick three cars: a daily driver, a weekend/fun car, and a truck/SUV/work/hauling car.
You have $120k to spend on all 3.
What do you pick?
>>14679450
I already own those 3
>Miata
>Corolla
>B2600i
Not the best. But they work.
Can I just buy 1 raptor?
>Daily
Infiniti G37
>Fun
Porsche Cayman
>Work
Toyota Tacoma
I went on craigslist to buy a new car or truck but am in a financial slump and have bad credit. I made a mistake of maybe sounding too desperate when negotiating with one vehicle owner saying that I'd pretty much do whatever he wanted because I wasn't having any success after over a month of looking.
He told me that given my financial situation, he wants zero risk. He's keeping the truck as colateral and giving it to his 16 year old son to use until I pay it off in full. He's charging me a marked up price from the Kelly Blue Book value. In exchange,...

what kind of work do you do that you need a truck?
>>14679198
I work for a restaurant. It doesn't need to be a truck, it could be a van but we do big pick up orders from restaurant depot.
You could have bought a 90's chevy or GMC for ~$1500 no problem.
You did screw yourself, enjoy being ripped off.
After I pay off my mortgage and student loans I plan to buy myself a "fun" car. Was thinking of a WRX esp if they come out with a hatch version in the nest model year.
While I know it's not a pure sports car it's a fun daily driver. I take lots of road trips and do a lot of camping/skiing so the AWD is high on my list since it's gonne be driven in nasty conditions. Plus it's go that back seat for when I have kids which is a bonus.
What other cars should I be looking at? I know that Ford Focus RS is coming but i'm worried about...

You're life sounds fun as fuck OP, go for your Subaru, they hold value well too last I checked.
>>14678170
Ha thanks, yeah I test drove a few cars and I keep coming back to the subie. Might just wait out the next model year because i'll be real sore if they drop a hatch back WRX right after I buy.
>>14678148
>AWD
If that's a must and you want something sporty you're basically limited to:
>WRX
>Focus RS
>Golf R
>BMW M235i xDrive
>BMW 320/328/335i xDrive (they have a wagon version but it's slow)
>BMW 428/435i xDrive

Hi /o/, I would post this is the /dbt/ but this isn't a sportsbike.
I've been driving cars for many years now. I've been toying with the idea of recreationally riding a motorcycle on Sunday mornings.
Now as I've never ridden one before, I'm currently looking at the Honda CBR125. I'm between buying a 2004/2006 CBR125. I'm looking to spend less than £900 on the bike.
Any tips or advice about which bike to get or what I should do to improve my experience would be appreciated.
>>14677993
Just post in /dbt/. The sportsbike thing is a joke.
>>14677993
cbr 125 is a scooter
