>Magnet Marell
what? I've never saw one of those around
cheap shitalian shitboxes I guess
and anyway FCA is a joke, everything italians touch it turns into shit
it's a shame that an American brand has been ruined by those monkeys
Viper is the only reason they hold my interest.
in 2017 that will no longer be however and so goes just another large auto-group. I wonder what they'll do with the SRT team when they are no longer working on the Viper.
if you buy a car for speed, you're a dumb cunt.
if you buy a motorcycle, for fuel efficiency, you're equally stupid.
buy a car for fuel efficiency and a motorcycle for speed.
you'd spend less than buying a car for speed.
>>14702752
>motorcycle gets 33 mpg highway
>one of the fastest bikes ever manufactured
Feels noice
I buy things because I want them.
>>14702758

you understand motorcycles were made for cornering?
Post your superior soulful cars in here.

The Fiat 500's are Yugo's rebranded. Fiat bought the rights off of Zastava Metalworks in Serbia in the 90's. Have fun with your yugo faggot.
>>14702580
Thanks anon, I have :^)
I'm thinking about buying a 500 Abarth as a first car. I want something small and fun, yet still practical. I don't lug people around, so I don't care about needing 4 doors.
Thoughts?
What does /o/ think of GTO's?
Anyone here own one?
Im thinking about taking out a loan and getting one.

My buddys got a nice mazdaspeed 6. And im done going slow in my powerstroke. And want a fast luxury car to beat his ass in :^)
Essentially a Holden Commodore I think, if you can ask the australians they can tell you all about the chassis for sure, I'm not 100% on whether they had the same engine options we did though.
Thinking of getting
06 sts v cadi
77k miles.
Almost 500hp under 20k
>interior
Anything I should be aware of?
If you're looking for fast and cheap -
The sts-v is extremely heavy.
It has 469 horsepower, but weighs 4,200+ pounds.
Speed has to do with a lot of factors, such as WHP, torque, weight, and many other factors.
If you're looking for fast and cheap for under 20k, there are better options. Personally, I'm a BMW guy. For $20k you can find a good condition supercharged/turbo M3 (have to look nationwide) that will get you about 420HP, but provide much better handling, be an actual race car, and be faster in every sense.
Just keep those...

prepare to be nickeled and dimed to your grave

M3s are expensive to maintain. Cadi you can find parts just about anywhere and diy the repairs.
M3s are everywhere. That sts v is a rare find
2002 Grand Am, or 2002 Silvia?
Which car, /o/?
>>14701676
>I'm not the only one that thought this
Ha
They are both super shitty cars though
>>14701682
Have you... Have you been in a Grand Am? The interiors are made of melted McDonald's toys/condoms.
You can at least decently modify a Silvia, Ams have 0 aftermarket beyond really ricey shit.
>>14701794
>Ams have 0 aftermarket beyond really ricey shit.
The V6's have some decent aftermarket support.

Can someone pelase redpill me on why yanks love v8's and carbs? EFI Makes more power more reliably and uses less fuel literally no downsides or i am i missing something?
i never see them running carbs on anything else but a v8
LS with carb swaps are so common why do people do it?
I really cant figure out why they do it because their not any easier to tune or work on or simpler they seem more complicated and prone to malfunction and cant handle any boost for shit
Please redpill me on NA Carb V8's.
I cannot figure it out WHY WHY?
>>14701302
It's because we love making liberals cry, anon.
It's also because boomers literally can't into compooter.
>>14701336
so will carbs die with the boomers?
Do they see it as some sort of artform?
granted carbs look better as do their cleaners but thats literally the only upside
>>14701340
I'm a millenial. I'm on the hunt for a 60's GM/Ford car right now. Glorious Carbed V8.
Carbs are also easy to deal with.
>Turn screw driver
>A/F adjusted
Compared to EFI where you need to get out your tuning software.
I'd like to take a 4 door xj, strip out the back seats, and use the entire rear cargo and seating area to store tools, an air tank, power converter, etc in an effort to make a halfway decent purpose built recovery vehicle that I could also use as a mobile mechanic setup.
I'm pretty sold on the XJ being an awesome platform, but it would be my first Jeep and really my first 'MURCIAN vehicle at all.
I'm sure somebody has done something like this before, or at least converted the whole thing to storage. I know plenty of these were used for fleet...

yeah they are great. you can turn the ac into an air compressor and have on board air for air tools. they can hold a lot and you can make them very capable.
I have a 91 Cherokee with almost 300k miles on it.
It's a total shitbox, but it refuses to quit
>>14701341
The piece of shit pulled this 1.5 tonnes
Smelled hot as fucked when I got home, but it didn't overheat
Anyone from I/o/wa browse this board? How about a meet up?
>>14701086
how are the cops out there
>>14701086
Iowa City here. Where you at, anon? I know El Sable is from Linn County.
We've tried Midwest meet ups in thr past, the problem is that anywhere we pick is a long ass drive for everybody.
Why don't they just take the Ferrari F12 chassis, put a v10 in it with a stick and call it a Viper?
>pic related
>>14701023
You are right op, both are red and have 4wheel
>>14701023
That would make the viper a soul less grab for money car that starts on fire.
Its better that it wears a chysler Corp badge.
>>14701023
If they are not going to use the Viper chassis then have them design a NEW chassis from the ground up instead of using another car's chassis that already exist.
They should also stop using the Viper's name if they aren't going to make a "Viper" but rather a different car that sorta "resembles" the Viper.
Just make a Viper successor with a different name with the same goal of being the best track performer it can be instead of riding off the success of a car that...

Have any of you seen the concept cb1100 from the Tokyo auto show? What are your opinions on it?
>>14700940
hey i heard u like pipes
looks cool
I wish standards would get more popular again
I just want them to bring this puppy to the States
I saw a car today that looked like the spawn of a Monza 2+2 and a Datsun 240.
>white with a blue stripe on the side
>GT badge on the right fender
Some mudflaps, turbo and fog lamps and it would probably be ready for Paris Dakar.
>not hardly low and as sleek as the Monza
>just a little chunkier than the Datsun, shorter hood
Help me out here.
The back end looks very similar.
See any other kind of emblems to help us narrow it down? I'm guessing some kind of European sportscar from the 60s or 70s or maybe 80s.
Dodge Shelby Charger maybe?
So I'm not to versed in anything forced induction, but I found this thing at a DIY Garage in the junk bin. Is this a tiny ass stock turbo, /o/?
>>14700332
How big is it? Will your dick fit all the way in and curl around?
Nice waterpump
>>14700332
Nah, it's a centrifugal supercharger, you can tell because of the pulley
