So I finally money shifted my FoST... I was going about 60-65 and instead of 4th I grabbed 2nd. Was probably over 8k rpm, hard to say exactly because I stomped the clutch almost instantly.
Dash lit up for a second then all the lights turned right off. Car made a funny noise until I got off the ramp and after turning it off for 5 minutes then turning it back on back to normal. I have an accessport so I looked to see if it logged that code it threw when I money shifted and there's nothing.
Am I fucked bros? I drove the car about another 20 miles home and nothing...

You deserve it.
>this is why I dont buy used cars.
You must shift like a little bitch OP. Fuck you.
>>13816124
I've read a few instances of that happening, the car goes into "limp mode" to prevent any damage plus you have a rev limiter so that should prevent any crazy over revving.
All the times they've turned the car off and on and it drove normally.
Don't worry bro Ford knew this kinda shit would happen so they put measures in to prevent damage.
ATVs still illegal on roads in the land of the free?
Legal in arizona.
Blacks would ruin it for everyone like everything else.

Dodge teases drool-worthy Challenger GT AWD concept
The Challenger’s stock 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine has been paired with its expected eight-speed transmission. It’s received the Scat Pack 3 Performance Kit treatment, though, adding 79 horsepower (59 kW) and 44 pound-feet (60 Nm) of torque. These gains come from Mopar Performance CNC-ported cylinder heads, Mopar hi-flow manifolds, and hi-flow catalysts. The exhaust manifolds, exhaust adapter, upgraded gaskets, and Scat Pack 3 badging comes as well. This is a new off-shelf option from Mopar.
The transmission...

Never buy a car with more scat packs than pedals

It might handle well. Although knowing Dodge, probably not. I'm not sure AWD can save this thing
>instead of ford's drift mode it gets burnout mode
So, electric cars won't become more popular until (1) they become cheaper than gasoline cars to purchase and operate, (2) charging infrastructure improves and (3) standard models have 200+ mile range.
Thinking about the first criterion for a bit, I'm guessing one of the big factors holding electric cars back right this moment is the cost of gasoline and oil. It's at $47 a barrel, pretty low compared to previous years (back when cars like the Tesla Model S and Nissan Leaf first came out). But how long is it gonna stay down there before it creeps back up...

Cheap oil won't last long. Even with cheap oil gas prices haven't dropped that much. It will go back up.
the real question in my mind is if it will stay cheap long enough to keep electric cars at bay for a time. If it does, there are laboratories working hard to create synthetic gasoline from renewable sources. If that happens, electric vehicles are fucked.
>>13815386
#1 is a reality in europe. However, #2 and #3 are still out of reach. So, electric cars are still shit because I can't go 400 miles, charge the battery in a couple of minutes, and then do another 400.
Until they invent batteries that last for hundreds of miles and don't take hours to charge, it's a no-sell.
>>13815386
How about we talk about the electricity production for these vehicles? It has to produced somehow, right? Renewables will not be able to match the demand for EVs. Nuclear would be a cleaner way of producing the electricity to meet demand, but muh Eco hippies won't stand for da big bad nuclear.
So how do you meet demand to power EVs?
Coal.
Yes, coal. We will go from making cleaner and more efficient gasoline engines to dirty coal burning, which is far worse for the environment than the ICE.
Good...

Toyota brought that Camaro out to Willow Springs and tested it themselves on track against the Sienna. No surprise the Sienna "Won".
The Official Camaro 1LE Time is 1:22.70
What an absolutely beautiful car and the return of the triangle. Really hope we get a price point on it sometime soon, because I think I have found my new dream car.
Fuk ii like it ai
>>13815290
I doubt they'll say anything about price until maybe 2017.
I'd guess 38k-49.8k base.
There's always the chance they'll ruin everything by making it NA and price it to compete with the 370z, though.
Why aren't reverse sleepers a thing?

They are, they're called brz and frs
They are, they're called (your car).

like a supra Porsche
i liked it as well
But performance wise, it's pathetic.
Hate them or love them, but Ferrari is the most important sportscar-maker in the world and THE benchmark for all other competitors.
Thoughts?
>>13815153
Koenigsegg would like to have a word with you.
>>13815153
Ferraris are over priced and over hyped rich people cars lets be honest.
The only people who own them are douche bags with too much money and no clue how to modify a car.
Considering i could build a car that beats a ferrari in all areas for under 30,000 they are just garbage fashion accessories.
The Enzo was the last Ferrari worth a shit
OK I bought this car 4,000 miles ago.
Within 500 miles of trouble-free driving, it died once as I was coming to a stop. Shook it off, started and drove off.
Since then, it's had a running issue that has gotten worse and worse and worse to the point it's undriveable now!
So I went shotgun on it and started replacing EVERYTHING on the whole damn car!
Symptoms:
#4 cylinder NEVER fires
Engine bucks and gets worse when hotter
Vacuum gauge shakes badly at intake vacuum port
RPM's will decrease by half and die while idling or driving
ALSO, the exhaust makes a weird chirpy squeaky noise!
Replaced:
Cap & Rotor
Duraspark ignition module
Ignition pickup coil
Ignition Coil
Plug Wires
Plugs (x3)
Intake manifold gasket
EGR
PCV
Checked:
Valve timing
Rocker bolt torque (non-adjustable rockers)
Ignition timing
Spark condition
Spark consistency
Voltage at battery
Voltage at coil
Valves appear to open fully
Compression is 150 exactly on all cylinders. Exactly.
#4 plug turns black in no time and I can swear it's just never firing. My master mechanic friend spent an hour on it the other day and when I mentioned #4 not making a difference he said "well I know, cuz I already unplugged it as you were saying it" and eventually gave up and said I had the one Ford issue he's never encountered.
inb4 "billions of vacuum lines" they actually only take-off from three ports on the carb and two on the manifold, all of which I've plugged at the same time and made no difference.
Engine is a 460ci

You'd be better off finding a specific forum than posting here.
After searching Mk4 Lincoln forum, 460ford seems to be where you should be asking this

Sorry senpai but continentals are shit
If you think I'm wrong just remind yourself of its transmission
>>13815179
Oh yeah, the ole glass C6, right? What a disgrace, that C6. I mean, all those people that buy Lincoln's just to rip out the 460's and C6's to put into mudding trucks and street rods, what are they thinking??
>>13815152
Been there. Everybody is STUMPED.
Please don't get offended but: Why are American sportscars technically and aesthetically behind European cars? They lose in every direct comparison (Top Gear, Fifth Gear etc.) and have not a very good built-quality.
So my question is: USA is a high-tech country and their products dominate the world EXCEPT their sportscars. Why is that?
Anon this is a shitpost and you know it
>top gear
top gear hates all american cars.

It's all just a script anyway, they seem to 180 on them almost constantly.
