Your 100% right, but I still think the price is reasonable. People said it was over priced, until they drove it. To drive it was universally considered to be one of the best cars ever. Jeremy Clarkson even called it the greatest car he has ever driven. That price also pays for the exclusivity of having one of 500 cars. Ferraris, Lambos, and Mclarens are all built in much higher numbers. They also don't have a screaming, 9000 rpm spinning even firing V10 or look near as good.
I just wish it was produced in higher numbers. The price would have been lower, and I would have had a much better chance of even seeing one in person. It's hard to get excited about a high end sports car that I may never even see on the street. But at the same time, if it weren't limited production it may have not been as good.

And none of those cars got the same kind of acclaim as the LFA to actually drive. Reviewers liked them, but no more than most super cars. The LFA was only overpriced to people who never had driven it.
GTR is as fast for a third of the price.

If I currently had 1,000,000USD to spend on automobiles, I wouldn't buy the LFA. I absolutely love it, flagship and all, but it's simply a matter of being smart with your money. I could enjoy 3 really fast cars for a TOTAL of 400,000. Then get a luxury daily and still be left with 300k. Ain't nobody got the money except the rich of the rich. Anyone who makes 7mil or less /yr would be a fool to get one

You could just get an Ariel Atom V8 or a Caterham 7 650R. Both are less than 100,000 and a lot more thrilling to drive than the LFA.
