I've driven a crew cab long bed and loved it. Best towing setup I've ever touched. Parking/driving them isn't a big issue here, I only ever had trouble when I was driving one in downtown Portland.
I'd also go as small as a Samurai or CJ5. Anything under 80" wheelbase starts to get redonkulous though.

I bought this car from mom, it had sat for about 5 years. Replaced #6 fuel injector to make the engine run normal again and totally rebuild the transmission repping every o-ring, gasket, seal imaginable.
Good news:
Its no longer spewing tran fluid
bad news:
after 30 minutes of idling or driving, the car stalls when pulling off from a drop (like at a stop sign). (While hot) when I try to restart the car and put it to drive it dies same with reverse.I checked my vacuum lines and they are all tight. it doenst idle rouglhy
