i need a new car since mine is trashed.
i'm thinking about a Mercedes Benz diesel, the 190 D with the 2.5 liter engine. its supposed to be very reliable, and i can get one cheap as shit.
any ideas?

the have few hp so i can insure them cheap, the only thing i worry about is the repairs and the cost of them. i have a old bike (1986) and did a lot of engine work on it already, like changing the camshaft and pistonrings and rockers and stuff like that, so im not completely retarded...

So I went to several luxury car dealerships in the Canadian town I live in.
I dressed well, spoke professionally and intelligently, and when it came time to test driving a BMW X6i, I drove it very well.
Therefore, I'd thought I'd try and see if I could take the BMW for an overnight test drive.
Mind you, I'm only 20 fucking years old, and this lady let me take home a 60k BMW overnight.
I'm still in shock, but I've driven the shit out of it.

OP, since you own a volvo as well, might you be able to tell me just how much the engine is supposed to dance around in the engine bay? when idling or turning off the ignition the entire car is bouncing around on the springs because of engine movement.. the motor mounts seem solid
