So I bought a hearse at a local auction. I need a tastefully offensive vanity plate. Ideas? (7 char. max)
So far I've got these:

Actually try go.

>Everything a God makes is perfect
>not every car Mazda has made has been perfect (RX8 wasn't that great, BC Miata wasn't as good as the others, less said about the Alfa Romeo Arna the better)
>Ergo, Mazda are not Gods
Still a very good manufacturer, though.
The fastest production car they've made is the FD RX-7, which isn't very fast.

Wasn't the Arna a Nissan?
Best 2010+ sedan for under $20k?
Sorry what? Could your repeat because I think I fell asleep while looking at your post
ye
its better than the accord in some places
but obviously anything is better than the camry or what ever nissan has
2010 or 2011 Lincoln Town Car
What went wrong?
>>14072272
Absolutely nothing.
>4 cylinders only
>4 or 5 doors only
>autotragics only
sold to chinese/ loss of swedish identity/ cuck
>grow up idolizing muscle cars
>hate jap shit
>one day start thinking
>there isn't anything special about the models I idolize
>if the same motor from any of my favorite cars was put into something lighter, the lighter car would win
>mfw
Anybody else have an experience like that?
>>14072009
just ironically
>motor
>>14072009
Yeah. Then I became an adult and realized the tuner-vs-muscle car thing is fucking retarded. Some cars are good, some are bad, some are good in certain scenarios while others are bad in the same ones and vice versa. You can like muscle cars for what they are, and appreciate tuners for what they are too.
ok, so I just got a ticket for rolling through a stop sign. Here's the catch: there is no stop sign at the intersection because it was ripped out maybe a week or two ago, the word "stop" is marked on the road but im trying to figure out if the sign not being there is enough to dispute the ticket.
Also I live in NZ
Appreciate any advice
>>14071156
It says stop. That's enough. You're fucked.
go with a paint thinner and something rough and mark up the STOP thats written on the road as much as possible. take a picture of it from your car as youre rolling up to it. present in court that due to the lack of a stop sign and insufficient road marking you didnt stop.
>>14071156
The yellow limit line alone is enforceable, sorry anon.

Driving pet peaves
I'll start:
When people are stopped at a light but leave like two cars length space between them and the next car

People who can't spell the word 'peeves' and get autistic about spacing.

When I browse /o/ on my phone while doing 140 in a residential area, and OP is a faggot.
4 lane road, red light in distance. I back off and coast to try and roll through green. Person behind me tailgates instead of overtakes.
So this has baffled me for years...
Why is it a universal status symbol amongst nogs to get the biggest and most obnoxious wheels possible?
I understand getting nice, larger wheels... but most everything over 20" looks ridiculous.
>>14070066
Its not, youre justa sheltered suburb nigger
Lol all that work on a Sebring.
>>14070077
Even better
Are fram oil filters that bad?
Are the nicer ones ok to use?
usually its best to stick with a name brand like wix or puralator.
fram a shit, but i only buy k&n because of the nut.
i would still use them if they were bad
>>14069984
Friend swears by them but I found a shaving from the threads inside an orange can when I was in high school. Never touched a fram product since.
>>14069984
Yes, they're trash
>burning fuels in an internal combustion engine is only 20% efficient
>20% converts to kinetic energy, the other 80% to heat
>that means in a 15 gallon tank, 12 of those gallons just go towards warming the block and then removed by the radiator
what if we lived on bizzaro earth, where this was backwards? where 80% of burning gas converts to kinetic energy? instead of a 2.2 ecotec making like 150hp, it would make 270hp, or could be 1.2 and still make 150hp.
imagine big bore v8's...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

This exists. It's called a Tesla.
>bizzaro earth
>government pays you to drive huge ass v8's and v12's
I could live with that.
>>14069517
at the risk of taking the bait...
NG and coal powerplants are 75-90% efficient
electric already sounds much better
What's the latest car I can with a 3800 series 2? I love this engine. It makes decent power for every day stuff, gets ok gas mileage and replacement parts are plentiful. I never want to not have this engine.
>>14068717
2005 model year Le Sabre, Park Avenue, Impala, Monte Carlo, and Bonneville.
>>>/qtddtot/
>>14068717
get an SV6 monaro
>>14068735
This. Those were the last cars to use the series 2 3800.
BTW OP, the 3800 is shit. Reliable shit but still shit.
So are we just gonna pretend state of the art Hybrid super cars didn't get curb stomped around Laguna seca by the new ACR?
How is it even possible? Cars with active aero, hybrid assisted drive trains that cost millions get beaten by a Car that still uses pushrods?
>totally not slicks
A lot of this 'technology' - batteries, chargers, electric motors, cables - adds weight. Snek is just pure (basically race) car. For one example, if Porsche spent all the energy they put into the 918 into a regular gasoline powertrain, the car would probably be a better match for Snek.
>>14068708
Okay there is some legitimacy to the tire argument. Also the Z06 can only do three laps around the 'ring before needing new tires, versus the Porsche can run many. Porsche won't send a production car out with tires that wear that fast. Not even GT cars.
What other countries have a "truck culture" similar to North America?
None.

I thought that they drove "utes" or whatever (those things that look like an ElCamino) in Australia
What four-wheel and what two-wheel vehicle would you choose for an unassisted around-the-world trip?
Rules:
>You have to fix everything yourself
>You'll need to carry tools
>You need to carry crucial spares in/on the vehicle
>You'll be camping
>You'll be taking the scenic route wherever possible
