Why don't hatchback coupes exist anymore? When the Scion tC will bow out next year, there will be none left in the marketplace.
mini
half of everything citroen and peugeot sell
>>15154430
You'll still have the 370z. But that's the only one I could think of.
>>15154430
>Scion tC will bow out next year
Are they not going to sell as a Toyota like other scion models? It was one of the more successful scions there was
Would it be a douchebag move to buy a 2015 golf tdi? I like the car and don't care about how clean it runs
>>15154325
Remember that they didn't just lie about how clean it was, they also lied about the actual MPG since their cars switched operating conditions to give higher MPG during testing.
It is like all those PC computer graphics cards that switched operating modes when they detected a testing program was running. That was how nvidia got huge speed "performance" ratings.
>>15154325
If you choose to use the recall, the car would have the computer adjusted to run cleaner, but its MPG would drop a lot. So if you wanted to be the maximum douchebag, you would refuse to take the car in for this recall. By not fixing it, you get the best MPG at the cost of the environment (and thus cheapest operating cost for you).
>>15154386
Good luck passing emissions, stupid ass. Once the recall is over the unmodified cars won't be street legal.
Does /o/ pull in or back in?
>back in masterrace
Quicker to pull out if there's an emergency
>>15154164
>unless you have a narrow street/ with cars parked on the other side in which case you rather reverse on your way out to avoid hitting anyone or going through a 3-to-5 point turn
but yeah otherwise it's cooler to park backwards. better visibility when you're pulling out if there's many cars around.
I back in, because I suck at spacial awareness, so I want to improve. However little backing in helps.
>>15154164
Back in unless I'm out in public where people apparently don't have the patience to wait
I would drive this
>>15153506
>>15153508
yes
I have been traumatized by a major car accident. I still drive, but I no longer have the passion for driving that I had before, and the images of the crash and the hospital are constantly in my mind while I drive.
Has anyone else gone through this? How did you get past it?
Most people can't remember their bad accident but in time you'll feel better. Maybe avoid driving for a bit.
>>15153494
git gud
>>15153500
This. Take some time away from driving until you feel up for it again. When you do get a car that you feel comfortable and safe In. Stick to back roads and suburbs, move your way up to main streets and highways. Finally back on the interstate. Basically like teaching a kid to drive and feel comfortable on the road again
Motherfucking talk light lense fell off, not paying $125 for the whole replacement taillight unit.
What is the best glue to stick this back on there? I was going to default to black rubber cement.
>>15153464
buy the light or it will look like shit.
>>15153473
Actually, the part of the lense being glued back to the taillight is not visible and doesn't obstruct the light or lenses.
The car is already deemed a "total loss" and I have title in hand... Not exactly a show car.
>>15153464
Is this going to be a plastic on plastic bond?
>you will never own even a base model 4 door R33 Nissan Skyline
>>15153285
Nah, I'm Australian. I've owned two Skylines already.
...they're kinda shit
>>15153310
better then literally only having fwd as an option
AWWOOVEMENT
Looking to upgrade from my R34 GTT to something a bit newer. Need some ideas.
Budget $40k Aussie dollarydoos.
Something RWD or AWD,, turbo or V8, preferably manual trans (or dual clutch, but no autos).
I like the Mustang don't fancy spending $65-70k or waiting years for delivery.
>>15152936
Shit I wouldn't pay the US price for a mustang. Fuck spending $65k. Id say I feel bad for you Aussies but you get alot of cool jdm shit.
>>15152936
Keep the skyline, buy moar parts and drugs/booze. Either that or get something classic like a 240z, maybe even an old school celica and do it up nicely.
>>15152946
We were lucky to get all the JDM sports cars from the 90's, but after the R34 finished production, and they stopped making the Supra and Silvia etc, there isn't any new cars coming out of Japan worth getting.
All late model US imports that come here (Camaro, Corvette etc), have to be converted to right hand drive, and end up costing $100k for even a base model.
Looking to spend 6 grand or less on a temporary daily that I might autoX occasionally. I would like a rwd coupe with back seats. Has to be manual. I want the best all around car thats still fun.
My options so far are
E46 330ci
G35 coupe
Rx8
Is300
TL type S
Anything else I should add to the list?
Before anyone says anything I'm not afraid of rotary's so disregard anything about their "unreliability".
So what would you get?
>>15152919
For 6,000? Forget the infinity, the bmw well all of them. Dude they will all have like 160,000 miles, missing second gear and bald tires for 6 grand.
Get a 458 speciale
>>15152919
>So what would you get?
Well if youre honestly asking
Should I buy a 2016 Ford Focus ST? I would love some opinions from you guys.
First, yourself this:
>What are the pros/cons buying new vs. used
>What improvements were made over last gen
Personally I'd go used 2015 Focus ST with ~15-25k miles.
>Save thousands of dollars for sick mawds
>Still good condition
>Still god machine
The FIST is a better car in my opinon.
I've driven both. The focus feels like it want to rip itself to pieces if you push it.
The FIST imo handles better and is more fun to drive. And oldly feels better built to
