If it's open it will increase the drag coefficient by approximately 11%. The typical sportscar has a frontal area of 1.67 m^2 and a drag coefficient of 0.32. The density of air is 1.2 kg/m3.
If you want to find force (F) we'll have to multiply half times the drag coefficient (C) times the fluid density (ρ) [in this case, air] times the reference area (A) times our velocity^2. Now let's suppose we open the sun roof at 56 and 112 kmh. That would take the drag coefficient from 0.31 to 0.42 just...

I was out riding my mustang and I couldn't focus on anything except how I had to escort my daughter to a fiesta later.
I didn't mind much because there may be some good looking cougars there.
>later that night
My daughter Victoria and I had finished our pinto bean soup and were getting ready for the fiesta. It was always a chore to get her ready for anything. You see she was a Scorpio, and I a Taurus. We clashed often, but generally kept a good tempo with one another.
She walked out of her room and looked beautiful. More beautiful...

That would be rough. But I'll try
We arrived at the city civic center late this evening. Today had been a long day for Domani and I. I had just lost my passport only days before our crosstour. But soon we would be relaxing with our friends and listening to Lagreat Concerto. A famous up beat jazz band.
I quickly found miss Jade. A beautiful woman who I could never find time in my life for. Her grace was unmatched and her mental clarity would amaze a Buddhist monk. She smiled brightly and complimented my ascot. As soon as I opened my mouth to respond there was a scream. I looked over to see a stream of blood...

Where were you when 80% of cars on the road were bloated design corpses filled aggressive women and manlets?
Where were you when allowed the crossover blight to blot out the Sun?

Crossovers are an embodiment of the American way.
Let me explain the free market economy to you, commie:
People in free countries have choice. They are free to choose what products to buy and what products to not buy. Companies are permitted to offer products that adhere to a looser structure of various legislation. When a person purchases a product they choose, that purchase has a positive influence on the products' success. If enough of that product is produced, distributed, and bought, the company will make more of them. This is called a "consumer...

Because it's a 12 year old Mercedes?
Hey g/o/ys. I'm in the market for a Ford Ranger. Since it is a 20 year long model, I'm having a tough time figuring out what to buy. For those of you that have experience with the Ranger, what engines should I be considering and what model years should I look out for?
Also, what is the most you'd spend on, let's say, the cleanest and lowest mileage Ranger there is? I've seen some on Craigslist that were super clean, but were going for nearly $8,000. I have a high budget, but I don't want to overpay.

Had the 4.0 manual. Was good for a while then it all started going to hell. Had an old 2.3 manual and even with 300k+ miles it was great

How important is proper brand name oil usage?
I bought a vw with a 1.9tdi engine.
About to do my third oil change on it (every 6000km) and I use loose oil sold by the liter at a local gas station. It's 15w40, apparently organic.
Thing is I like to take proper care of my car, but it's incredibly expensive to get proper oil (15 bucks a liter for brand name) when compared to the 6 of the loose oil.
Shouldn't you at least be using diesel oil? Rosella T is like $3/L in America or even less if you buy in bulk
>>14809166
Not American
once I took all the emission stuff off my tdi I used the cheaper stuff, which happened to be rotella, but I'd still at least use diesel specific oil.
What are some cars that are spaceous, comfy and reliable enough to use on long roadtrips? Bonus if it can cope with rough terrain.
No sedans.
Looking towards getting an SUV/SAV, like a used X5, Newer Tahoe or hell, remove any chance of driving off road and get pic related since i've heard nothing but good thing about these.
