So I hopped in my car this morning and noticed this small crack on the front windshield. I don't know how it got their but I want to get it fixed before the problem gets worse.
I went to Safelite for a quote and they told me it'd be about $90-$118 to fix it out of pocket. Can I get it done cheaper somewhere else? I want to get it done by my insurance but I'm not sure.

That's too high if they are just repairing the spot and not replacing the windshield. Just go drive around tomorrow afternoon until you find a windshield repair EZ up in a parking lot. Some neckbeard looking dude repaired my shitbox's windshield last week for $40

I'm not a pro but don't be afraid to walk away if they won't negotiate. Also they usually ask how much you wanna pay a month. Don't fall for that. The total price of the car is what you wanna focus on. And any extras they wanna throw in (floor mats, oil changes shit like that)
Just don't fall in love and always be ready willing and able to walk away. Another car will come along.
Text the guy 3 times asking what their lowest price is, offer $2500 less than their asking price, and offer trades of substantially lesser value to feel out how low they'll go
