Enjoy your cracked rotors
>>15061493
do you even know what rotors are?
Hi /o/,
Sticky isn't particularly specific with this, so thought I'd ask...
What's a good, cheap used car for frequent long drives??
Something reliable enough to make a 300 mile drive every month without worrying about it breaking down along the way.
I was thinking about a Camry, 95-onwards with a decent mile count...
I'm probably dead wrong tho.
>>15061394
Only if the Camry is 2dr 4cyl manual.

Which car is better a Corolla or a Civic?
>>15061199
Fuck off, Dwight
>>15061199
Corolla
>>15061199
Civic.
Just bought this 1998 seat arosa for £575 with only 20k on the clock (my first car). Would like some ideas on what too have done too make it look better (it runs perfect).
>>15061198
keep it stock and clean.
>1998
>20k miles
>£575
It hasn't got 20k miles.
Don't do anything to it. It's good as is.
>>15061211
No serious, it was a old woman who only took it too the shop and back, when she died her son sold it too me
Yo /o/!
Im in the uk, i have 20-40k to spend on a car, its for weekend use.
Ive been on autotrader making a shortlist all day so far, trying to widdle it down to arrange some test drives.
The main ones at the minute are
Nissan 370Z Nismo (30k)
Subaru Impreza WRX STi (30k)
BMW M3 Coupe (30k)
Then lots of other cheaper cars i have noted down here, mx-5, gt86/brz
You can see the sort of thing im looking at i hope, i love the look of the nismo, so im using that pic, but anyone have experience/thoughts/cars im missing
You could probably get a Cayman for that money.
>>15061175
Go for the 370Z, it's the best one there.

>Mum encourages me to drive
>Complain to mum that young men get fucked over by insurance

wow I thought this board was gay-free
If you're legally a woman and identify as such on your application, I doubt the insurance companies will go out of their way to verify how long it's been that way.
Sorry Allstate, I identify as a woman when I fill out insurance forms.

What was on the screen, /o/?

Is it me or is /o/ getting worse than usual with the amount of shitposting and retardisms
Or is it summer?
>>15060973
It's always summer.
>>15060973
It's not just you. Shitposting is a summer tradition.
>>15060990
Well yeah /o/ is retarded year-round but it always seems to get worse during the summer
And there's not even too much of a traffic increase to the website overall, its probably faggots from the degenerate boards coming to spread their cancer to boards like this.
You're trapped permanently in a salt pan rust belt state with unlimited funds and fabrication tooling
How do you save your car?
>under body linings
>fastener treatments
>splash plates
>daily washes
>sacrifice neighbor kids
etc
>>15060913
drive it until it falls apart and then buy a new one
>>15060913
Krown or rust check yearly. done.
>>15060913
>unlimited funds
Have a team of mechanics that are experts with my vehicle do a full teardown of the body and suspension once a month overnight to inspect and reapply anit-corrosion coatings as needed as well as perform any required maintenance.
>the greatest performance car to be released in years
>affordable price
>not even a single thread about it or anyone claiming to own it
I don't get it. When the frs/brz was released half of /o/ bought those slow shits, but when an actual fast track car debut's nobody on /o/ buys one? The fuck? Did you all throw your money away years ago falling for the frs troll?

A FUCKING LEAF
Anything bad about owning a smart?
Being involved in an accident in a smart car
Having a smart car is like being a nerd. Sure, you're smart and you're doing great in school, but you dress goofy, most people don't like you, and girls never notice you. Besides, getting blown side to side from a truck passing by really sucks.
Why are you considering a smart car in the first place?
I'm cheep but good Damnet when I work on my car I do it right. And I know I can get the specs for free and not buy a book. So were are you guys getting the shit?
>>15060796
Are you retarded?
Not to my knowledge
>>15060810
>things a retard would say
Thoughts on this car?
Let's say I'm looking to get a sports car within 5 years or so, is one of these with relatively low mileage and about 10 years old worth a look or are they as horrible and expensive to maintain as I've heard all Ferraris are?
Please respond
If you have to ask you shouldn't be buying one.
>>15060610
That's what I thought.
What's a sport car that is somewhat reliable/usable as daily driver then?
Apart from Porsche and souped up BMWs.
