No. Steering has so much fucking play. Lease a raptor or something
Thinking of getting a salvage/rebuilt car - mostly because I'm cheap as fuck. I want a Prius or similar for mileage and reliability.
Is it possible to get full insurance on a salvage car? Are the rates worse, or better?
Buying a salvage prius, ever.
>>15303384
most places wont offer comprehensive on salvage, and rates are always worse.
>>15303384
>is it possible to get full insurance on a salvage car?
mayyyyyybe, but usually not.
>Are the rates worse, or better?
far, far worse. you would get fucked anon.
the reasoning is this: most states do require an inspection to change a salvage title to rebuilt, BUT the inspection does not include actually testing the vehicle's functionality. therefore, you are trying to insure a vehicle that, while it looks fine, might still...

Anyone familiar with the Ventus V2 from hankook? I need new tires on my WRX and Discount Tires have these for 105 each. The V12 was rated pretty highly by MotorTrend among budget tires. I was wondering how the V2 compared with road noise/grip/tread life etc
Also, Tire recommendation thread?

hey guys, I'm looking for a "sport car" for 5k - 15k. The E93 would be perfect, but is very expensive. The cheeper choice is the E46 320i (because of high power-taxes) with sport suspension.
Is it a good choice? Do you know any good alternatives? Maybe 1-Series Coupe or BMW Z4? Which makes the most fun?
Note: The only cars here in Europe in this price range and with RWD are from BMW and Benz. I think a car with FWD is not a real sport car. Agree?
Here come FWD vs. RWD shitposters. How does it feel to bang the hornet's nest with a stick, OP?
>>15259499 for BMW related questions.
AFAIK the BMW I6 engines are some of the most reliable engines available but it's a hit or miss with all BMWs. You have to get lucky not to buy a shit one from Muhammad. While they might not be the fastest of cars, they're definitely up there in terms of driving pleasure.
Also, don't make the mistake of buying a 4 cyl BMW.

Rob Feretti and Christian Von Koenigsegg approach you at a car event and explain that they want to double team butt fuck you. Christian explains that for your trouble, after they've both came inside you, he'll toss a coin and you guess heads or tails. If you get it right Christian will buy you any car you like, get it wrong and you get nothing. He then says if you ever want to sell the car you have to suck Scotty Kilmers cock first.
Do you accept their proposition?

I'd spread my cheeks for Christian Von Assfucker any time.
What the fuck is up with the sudden influx of all this gay shit?

Turns out the dealer still has the car and is ready to sell it to me. 118k miles, 2010 Automatic SS - because manuals are for racing weaboo faggots like most of /o/
This would be for DD
Talk me out of this car as a DD
With active fuel management, people are seeing ~30 MPG online, and my 70 miles a day are all highway

Nope.
Thinking about doing that too OP, or getting a Corvette.
The tiny rear seats in the Camaro would be nice though for reclining so i can nap

Will we finally see a mid-engined Corvette?
No, because the corvette isn't a super car like the gt.
No.
Why are Honda owners such delusional retards that constantly go out of their way to convince themselves their poverty-tier econoboxes are better than every other car on the planet? Basically any argument they have is yelling "fag" every other word, benchracing against 30 year old sports cars or just outright lying then calling everybody "cücks" when called on their stupidity
Say what you want about BMW, Nissan, Subaru and whatever other makes get a bad reputation, but I've never seen such vocal retards shit up every single automotive discussion...

Not all Honda owners are like that, just the vocal few
What makes a car more or less drifty?
I've never drifted a real vehicle but from driving different cars in forza I've realised all cars don't drift alike or are all together uncontrollable once they lose grip.
What makes a car better or worse at drifting?

What does /o/ think of the BMW 135i? I really liked the new 2 series when it debuted, but it's too much money. I found this http://www.signatureautosalesny.com/2010-BMW-1-Series-M-SPORT-Franklin-Square-NY-Long-Island-Queens-NYC-NASSAU/used_car/Axhv0ELTpLg%3d
for a good price and was wondering if its worth ~$330/month for a used BMW.
/o/ hates everything.
N54 or N55?
>>15302188
The one im looking at is a 2010 model, so the N54 engine. I've heard of the HPFP problems, but that warranty has been extended 10yrs120kmiles so id be fine for a while

lots of people are overpricing miatas
basically you need to either
>watch all miata listings like a hawk, check every 6 hours
>be ready to go out and look at and buy one with a day's notice if it's a good price and looks good. That car will be gone within 48 hours i guarantee it
>watch the fucking stupid overpriced miatas languish at their dumb prices for a month, then meet the seller and save 20% less cash in their face and they'll probably take it.

What's the general consensus on the BMW Z4? I'm looking for a nice first car and I like the sporty look of this one. But I seem to see a lot of them on used car sites. Is this a bad sign?
>kinda high running costs
>good handling
>godlike 3 liter i6
>not sure about reliability
>most of them has lived a hard life
>didn't get answer in bwg for ten minutes
>makes a new thread
i don't know what you expect but making a new bmw thread means you're going to get a shit load of
>lel bmw reliability
>can't afford it op xD
>>15301953
It looks sportier than it feels. The first-gen (the one in your pic) isn't terrible, so it's worth test driving. But it doesn't handle anything like, say, a Miata. The added power and nicer interior might make up for it, depending on what you're looking - it's good for people who think the Miata is too hardcore.
The seat backs tend to fall off, which is weird.
The 2nd gen is just boring; it drives like a sedan, but without the practicality. Not a sports car, it's for middle-aged normies.
