That'll be my first step.

>Make sure nothing else mechanical is required

And then I can see what I can do about getting some more power under the hood.
So I just installed a set of long-tube headers on my truck.
Initial startup was fine with no problems aside from a leaking exhaust flange which I'll just weld later to make it one straight tube.
After about 15 mins of driving I got a check engine light, not hearing or feeling anything different in the way the truck is driving I can only assume it's the O2 sensors or the Cats.
I was able to reinstall all 4 of my O2 sensors into the new headers, but I cut both of my front cats off and am now running with just both the rear cats.
Any advice on how to fix/diagnose?

Not OP but my LS3 stock manifolds had 4 sensors, 2 primaries and 2 secondaries
OP, you're gonna need a tune with longtubes. Even long tubes with high flows will throw a CEL, at least on my car there is no way around this. A tune should take care of everything

Questions that don't deserve threads time, my dad has a late 80s/early 90s ford 5.8 engine that he wants to put in his 79 bronco, my question is what horsepower it has because it's fuel injected and if it will bolt up to the old transmission. What would your reaction be to the proposal for all cars to be banned? In their place, a nationwide train service would be created, with stops at regular intervals in towns and cities, as well as longer trips across the country. If I'm allowed to ride a motorcycle on these roads then sure, the only reason I haven't bought one yet is other drivers in cars.
This would never happen and it would be incredibly inefficient while at the same time costing the city a shitload with having to pay for WAY more public transportation, revamping the infrastructure while also losing out on various tax revenue and fines associated with cars.

In my manual I could never heel toe because normal cars aren't made to work like that.
