What car? Tfw $240 a year insurance
As title suggests, just imported an rx7 from Japan. I dont have any rebuild paper work for it and its done 80k miles.... What have I done!
>>14319934
>What have I done!
bought a car ready to toss the junker for a good engine
>>14319934
Get it rebuilt
I don't want to replace the engine I've always wanted a rotory. And fingers crossed it doesn't need a rebuild.
Yo /o/, I've got my driving test tomorrow and I plan on buying a car on the weekend if I pass, I know what car I'd like, but I just want to run it by you guys just to be sure. So, what is the general consensus of the 2010 5 door Mitsubishi Colt CZ2 Cleartech. It looks cool enough what with the angry face, but how does it handle? Any glaring issues that the car has? The one I am looking at is 27,000 miles and is up for £4000. I am just contacting the seller about reserving so I can test drive it.
>>14319623
>tfw failed my driving test three times
>tfw still no car
>>14319623
I'd say there's better cars out there but, honestly, as a new drive in this country, you aren't allowed anything genuinely fun yet, and it'd be stupid to start worrying because your gutless shitbox has less steering feedback and a marginally slacker chassis than some other gutless shitbox. Any fun you have in your position ain't gonna be down to the car. Plus, that's a very good price for the mileage.
So, yeah, I say go for it.
>>14319632
It's worse when you DO have a car. It started to feel like the damn thing was taunting me.
Will motorsports ever be this exciting again?

>magnesium frame
JUST
it already is and has been. Motorsport is more than just crashing.
I don't watch and I certainly don't participate in motorsports for the wrecks. Almost all types of racecars are way faster than they ever were and at the same time much, much safer.
So what does /o/ think about the Elio?

>$6,800 brand new
>84 mpg
>american made and manufactured
>made for lonely neckbeards who browse 4chan and don't have any friends to take on a ride
It's ugly and no Miata, sure, but so far it seems like the true car of the future. I can already feel Tesla making an electric copy of it any time soon.
>>14318941
If I wanted zero practicality and high mpg I'd have a motorcycle for way cheaper than that thing
>vaporware
>fucked up three-wheel "motorcycles" for everyone else
i REALLY want this to NOT be vaporware because it seems like a goldmine for mods, some good rubber and stiff springs and a hyabusa swap would do wonders because the chassis weighs basically nothing, it'd be tossable and quick as fuck. Optional factory manual too.
hell forget the hyabusa, anything with 120+hp would make this thing into a rocket ship

Greetings /o/,
After years of saving, (literally years) I can finally afford my dream car which is a FD RX7. I have researched these so much that I know them back to front.
The question Im asking myself, is should I go for the blue or white?
I would love to get grey but that only came with the super rare Spirit R's.
/o/ Decides.
The real answer is red
>>14318311
>implying you are going to have the luxury of choosing colors
These cars are getting harder to find OP. If you find one that has been well maintained, clean, low miles, congratulations. By then you won't care what color it is.
>>14318311
I like white pretty consistently, contrasts well with any interior color and black stuff like wheels. I say white
Best automatic, daily driver coupe/sports car for under $50k USD?
So far looking at the 2016 Audi TT and 2016 Lexus RC.
Not interested in BMW 3-4 series or Audi A4-7 because where I go to university every other person with a bit of money drives one.
Prefer cars <2 years old
No high maintenance cars
>>14318032
The Lexus IS350 F-Sport is a good one because it's not as popular as 335i, but it handles very well, is nicer inside than the 3 series, and I think it looks better. I'd also consider the new C450 if you're looking for a comfier ride. I haven't driven the TT so I can't comment on that.
I actually own a 2015 IS350 F-Sport and got it because compared to the 335i and S4, it was better priced than a similar 335i/S4 ($13k cheaper before taxes in Canada), more reliable, fairly quick, better...

Same presumably applies to the C/E-Class? Aside from that, ATS/used CTS and whatever Infiniti calls their coupes nowadays both might be worth a look.
I don't know too much about the RC, but I do know that the new TTs are very easy to live with if you don't need much space (which, being a student, you probably don't), and while...

I'm glad you admit you're a giant faggot, but I don't think anyone on this planet would fuck your face OP. No one has standards that low.

Everyone already knew you were a faggot.

my former boss lives in a condo and has a pretty big pickup as his d&d, but he did run his own carpentry business. material and equipment is not light or small.

Is there a better truck in 2016 that isn't a land-barge?
>>14316517
Yes.

A truck should be a tool, not a fashion statement. Therefore a new one is dumb because you'll beat it up.
What happened to this concept?

shit advice. what good is the widebamd faggot? zero. thats what.

replace the t25 turbo with an evo III 16g or bigger. get an eprom ecu from an early 2g and get dsm link. obviously all supporting mods too.
if youre poor as fuck get a BOV (recirc it faggot seriously) and a $15 boost contoller and boost gauge. crank boost to 15 psi.
