How do you guys take off, do you rev and dump? I like to release the clutch till it catches, hit the gas, then release it all the way and go about my business.

So I have owned tons of fun cars. 300zxTT with over 500 whp. GTO. Mustang GT. Several 240sx. Titan. Trooper. Ram Dually 3500. Corolla GTS. S2000. A couple sport bikes and cruisers and tons more.
So here's my dilemma. I have $8,000 to either buy a cheaper vehicle or to put down on a vehicle under $30k OTD. My dilemma is that I need something more adult I have a couple dogs I take out in the woods, I go camping with the lady a couple times a year. I have to haul shit for the house. And I just can't decide what I want! I am open to wagons, 4 door sedans, trucks, suv, even vans. I like from 1940 to today. I was looking at VW vanagon but they are all trashed or retarded expensive. So please brothers, reply with a post with 1 or 2 vehicles YOU would buy and tell me a bit about the good and bads (things to look out for). I just went to look at a 2006 Range Rover today and just didn't "feel" it. I've been looking forever and just can't make up my mind.

Thinking about leasing a new daily driver, something I can keep for under $400 a month.

I'd strongly recommend buying new or leasing/financing. Most cars depreciate by a third of their value at minimum in 2-4 years while having warranty left on them.

I would consider the mazda 3. I used to be a car salesman and as far as good little daily drivers I could never find something as perfect as the mazda for the price. Check out some other brands of course but that little 3 is great. I really dislike the BMW rip off knob for the infotainment but I can look past that for the car.
The biggest thing is they're fun. You can have your DD but it's got a responsive steering (even though it's electric) but overall there are way more pros than cons.
Also look into leasing because I know the dealer makes it sound so appealing but there are so many hidden fees that you don't know about and it costs quite a bit more than you'd think. Just some food for thought. Good luck getting a car anon

It can prevent it starting. Possibly slow down spreading. Use POR-50 to stop minor rust spreading. Wire brush major rust until its minor.
