Just test drove a 2016 Nissan Titan XD and a 2015 F150. The titan was a joke, did about 0-60 in 10 seconds, and felt like the wind would blow me over at any point. The interior was that of a Sentra. The F150 ecoboost was very peppy, and the interior was amazing. Is the F150 the best truck out there? I just have a small boat, and go camping from time to time.

Ah, just in time for summer!
I'm a huge fan of camping at the beach. I've two kiddos, and we tried camping out of the SUV and it just wasn't fun. What's the best vehicle out there for sleeping in it? Was thinking of buying a truck, and a teardrop camper, but that still might be too small. I don't need all the fancy gizmos that come with a trailer camper, I just need a king size bed (or two queens, maybe one queen might cut it...)
Are you such a big fan of camping at a beach if you can't even do it in a tent without getting uncomfortable?

Alright, /o/, I'm looking to buy a car to learn manual in and drive as a fun and sporty car to drive for the next few years. The budget is 15k USD. I already have a basically indestructible Lexus ES330 to use as a daily/all around driver. I was thinking maybe 350Z? It should also be relatively newish, preferably after 2000 MY.

People are miserable when it comes to cars. Only a few I know of actually do mechanic work, but keep it secret to avoid cheap-fucks and moochers.

My woman is dumping her 06 Milan after paying it off for something small and AWD. She hates boxes, such as jeeps or soul/scion/cube(FWD i know), and loves the sportiness of the Juke and CX-5. The Mazda is my pic overall, and we test drove one with pretty much perfect results. The Juke is her favorite, but seems a bit small on the inside, especially side arm room. We test drove an Escape, Santa-Fe, Equinox, CR-V(a bit too boring and boxy), and Rogue, with approval ratings in that exact order, with the Rogue's CVT and rough ride placing it out of contention basically.
Plans are to continue driving a few more such as a Rav4, Venza, Crosstour, Sportage/tuscon, Impreza Wagon, Buick Encore, and possibly GMC Terrain. Turbo is good, but premium can be a deal breaker. Looking for around 2012-13 and right around 20K$ CPO.
Anything im missing? We're staying away from anything European for maintenance costs. while reliability and safety are the priorities, economy and overall speed are not.
Thoughts on the segment overall? It's a growing market, but the HR-Z is just out of our price range and would be ideal.

Crossovers really aren't marketed to be 'sporty'.
You're gonna get all of everything (Car, Truck, SUV, high seating, etc.) all rolled into one package without a focus on 'sportiness'.
