My insurance company is trying to lowball me really hard for my totaled car, I sent them ads for around 8-9k for the same car in the same condition, and they think 4k is a fair offer.
The accident wasn't my fault and I hold no liability in the insurances eyes. I also have $4.5k in parts on the vehicle that I feel they're not accounting for.
Where do I go from here? I figured some people on /o/ have had to deal with this shit. I want at least 8k for it.

Do you spray your engine with a hose to clean it? I'd think there's way too much sensitive electrical stuff that could get fucked up, but I see people do it and saw a Chemical Guys video where they did it to an old dadrod.
What other ways are there to clean your engine bay?
I wipe it down by hand with a damp rag or greaser.
