If you're american, the IS200 isn't available there/
If not they're not exactly quick and decent-ish on fuel.
IS300 is miles better in terms of performance

I'd look at an M45
>>

Are you sure? I see these cars occasionally around where I live, I'm in the US
>>
>>13874322
The US only got the IS300

Are you saying you couldn't drive with the boots on?
>>
>>13874308
i could. felt like fucking shit. Just soo strange almost stalled at stop. Maybe im not used to it.
>>
>>13874336
You're not used to it.

I've driven manual cars with many types of shoes, so much it makes no difference.

Shit, i drove with a cast on my left foot. Not a cast cast, those compression things.

Hey guys, I drive a 2004 Grand Prix, 163,000 miles. Spark plugs were just changed in it, and it is due for an oil change. The check engine light comes on and off periodically, and I had it checked with one of those computers and was told it was the O2 sensor. Lately when I'll be driving and want to pass on the highway and really put the pedal down it'll feel like the car is kinda hesitating and doesn't have the power it should. It did that again today, except the check engine light started flashing. It flashed for maybe 20, 30 seconds. Turned off, came back on to the steady light. I know a flashing check engine light is really bad, but other than that one time its never happened and the car feels okay. Should I be worried? Is the car okay to still drive? I don't have money for huge repairs right now. Could it be something in the cars computer? Lately I've been getting my front right turn signal is out on my onboard computer when it's not. Help ease my mind /o/

I should clarify. It started flashing today after I put the pedal down to pass. It felt like the car was really lagging in power and then the light flashed temporairly.
>>
>>13874111
On GMC vehicles the check engine light flashing means there is a critical engine error such as a misfire condition.
I would recheck the ECU to see what code it's throwing.

2004 gp gtp owner here

Haven't had anything like this at all, but did the issue start before or after you got the spark plugs changed? Maybe the plugs weren't put back together correctly or something. I know my dad had a similar issue and the problem turned out to be the ignition coils were going bad on his Taurus

Where can you find one of these for sale? Are they expensive?

Something tells me the fun factor would be through the roof. I find that lately I'm not lusting after fast sports cars, but more so cars that offer great fun factor.

Plus it would be fun to wrench on.

PROTIP: with stock suspension, engine and drivetrain you will be miserable. They're insanely slow, insanely bouncy and awful on even a lightly bumpy road at speed and everything about them is primitive. In snow, gravel, rain, or mud a soccer mom in a Subaru will Colin McCrae your shit.

Think about it, jeeps are popular as fuck yet you never see people fucking with those, it's because it's a dinosaur that needs $10k to be enjoyable.

Redpill me on negative camber.

How do you guys feel on false-badging?

I recently bought this base C4 Corvette for 6k and I absolutely love it. It's my first performance car.

>the issue
the previous owner badged it as a ZR1 when he did the custom paint job. Am I going to get ridiculed for this? Is it worth figuring out how to take the badges off? I don't particularly mind them but I don't want to bring it to car-gatherings because I am afraid that car-lovers will burn me at the stake! Will they??

Fake badging is stupid as fuck, and the people that do it are just compensating. It's the same as a padded bra -- all lies. Find a way to remove them.
>>
>>13873537
Take it off.
If anyone sees under your bonnet and knows Corvettes then it will be an embarassment for you.

Also imo, that paint scheme is terrible but to each his own i guess

But NA Miatas start at 800€ here in Germany, and all of them have valid inspection stickers.

Luckily you don't live in the US because you'd never find any BMW that cheap here

Let's talk Abarth.

I realized I can get a used one with low miles for $12-15k (in the USA). Seems like a fun shitbox for commuting and weekend track . The depreciation makes since as the cars are very small and harsh ride, which is likely too much for most people. I don't care and I enjoy quirky and borderline shitty cars anyways.

My big concern is reliability. Fiat is an unknown to me. The only complaints I've heard about the cars are related to how they drive or quirks with ergonomics.

fiat is probably the second most unreliable brand in the market.

alfa's are more reliable, and that's saying something.

what you do is buy a real rwd car
>>
>>13873357
Yes. Exactly. You might want to turn the engine 90* too though.
>>
>>13873364
look, if getting a shaft of metal is cheaper than getting a RWD car, then guess what i'm going to? are you ready? get a shaft of metal.

do you go to the arctic circle when you're out of ice cubes? no. you nut up and fill up that fucking carton.

Hey /o/. I have a 1987 300zx turbo and it doesn't run. I want to pull the engine and fix it up, but I'm inexperienced and lacking in knowledge. Is it worth it? Any suggestions, tips, alternatives?
I'd prefer not to swap the engine.

so you want to pull an engine without any prior experience and I'm guessing the tools to make it possible
best place to start is to pick up a Haynes manual and start reading everything you can to educate yourself before you start evaluating if pulling the engine is worth it

How many of those Murano convertibles has Nissan sold? Apparently there's a market.

Apparently you haven't been in one, but rearward visibility is terrible in the 2 and 4dr versions. They had to remove the roof so people could see out of it.
