/O/k guys, I was really stupid and I fucked up.
I knew my car needed an alignment, and I noticed my front tires were getting a worn around the edges so I meant to go and get a new set and get an alignment, but I started a new job and I have had zero time to get the new set and just kept putting it off. On my way home from work today I decided to put some air in my tires and I notice this shit. I need this car to last until the weekend when I can get some new tires. Anything I can do to make sure my tire does not explode in the middle of the highway until friday?
Any...

don't take the highway
Duct tape them lol

I would if I could but thats pretty much the only route down there, and jam packed with traffic when I take it.
What's the best vehicle for a hunter? Unpaved roads will be common place so 4x4 is good to have.
>Ford F150
>Jeep Wrangler
>Toyota Tacoma
Any other suggestions? Cheap is preferably good.

Something to haul game that won't ruin the interior.

WHO IS HE? WHAT IS HIS NAME?
This guy is hard to miss. Look for the guy with a chip on his shoulder the size of the Ark Royal.
I got pulled over doing 85 in a 75. That's pretty normal going in TX but it's not the worst part. My insurance is fucked. They want to double my rate after someone hit ME last year because it "factors into their risk calculation." I'm 20, I already had one fender bender that was my fault, and a bogus traffic violation for not letting someone fully cross the street (they were on the other side of the road already). My dad is pissed at me as well now. Wat do? It was in Lubbock and I live hours away in Waco.
Anyone else get charges totally dropped...

Just drive fucking slower and more carefully.
You'll end up loosing your licence or having to pay some hefty fines

Have you been to central Texas? If I drive slower than 80 in a 75 zone people will literally honk. 85 is the speed I drive every damn day, I've never had a speeding ticket in my life. I shouldn't have assumed the same in another city but now I've already got the ticket. I don't want advice besides how best to deal with that.
It's kinda cute and I want one

you guys like Roadkill?
Yes but idk what the hell they are doing to this truck :(
Are they unpacking that ruined short truck again?
The fucking keg gas tank is still there. Amazing. I assume they're going to sling a transmission under there somehow, or otherwise turn the power around, since they've mounted the motor backwards.
Is consumer reports good for deciding which car to get? Or is it bullshit? Especially curious about the validity of their reliability ratings. What do you all think?
>>14599170
They're not good for picking a fun car
>>14599222
What do you mean?
The reviews are honest because they buy their own cars and don't have advertisers. Plus, they employ automotive engineers and do reliability samples from thousands of people.
Every purchase, however, is a risk. One man's lemon might be another's lifer.
Im looking for affordable Gentleman's Sedan.
Is there anything better than w210?

w124 is better but its not as that classy
I've always wondered....what do you think the cheapest car (stock) is that could outrun a crown victoria police interceptor?

Motortrend did a test back in '05 that showed a Miata walked away from cop cars in a simulated city course.

Pretty much anything

Sorry, '07.
>So what would happen if, say, a nimble little sports car with a skilled driver at the helm took on these big four-door brutes through a maze of urban streets? To find out, we cut loose our long-term Mazda MX-5 Miata around a simulated city grid at EVOC and…
>It was no contest. In just a few turns, even with only 170 horsepower on tap, the tossable, bantamweight Miata had the 340-horse Charger flashing its strobes at thin air. At the...

Find a beat up old Ranger or Taco for like a grand
>>14598996
That's the problem, I only have about $800 extra to spend and I'll need that for half decent equipment that won't break halfway through the season.
>>14598996
Beat up tacos go for like $10k. Your much better off buying a ranger, s10, or even a full size pickup. In the eventuality that you expand your business you will also be able to tow a trailer with ease in a 1/2 ton. My brother in law once had a 90s model toyota pickup and it struggled to even tow a small 12 ft boat. That thing was absolutely gutless. I imagine if the air conditioning still worked the engine would stall out when the compressor clutch engaged.
Hey /o/
How would a 05+ 350Z compare to a E36 M3?
I found a nice '97 M3 2dr 5spd Luxury Package for $6700 with 133k miles. I also keep finding a bunch of 05-06 350Zs for not much more ($7-8000) including a 06 350Z Enthusiast with 100k miles for $8000.
How does the Z compare? I know the E36 is the pinnacle of handling/driving experience, only matched by the S2000 and Miata/RX7/RX8. What kind of work would I need to get the Z to match it? On paper they're close, the Z is more powerful while only having 200lbs more. But the Z needs Brembos to match the brakes on the M3. I also hear driving them; the Z is almost always described as more "agricultural" and "rough". Not as precise or predictable as the E36.
I know there's a few owners of both on /o/.

Pigfat
Wrong 6 configuration
M3 all day long
Bump. Want some more opinions before I decide. Gonna try to test drive a 350Z tomorrow; though dealers tend to be really cautious about test driving anything manual
Just my .02, i think the Z would be a much more reliable car than the M3.
But, i actually hate the door panels on the Z for some reason and would never buy one because of it.
M3 will have nicer features for being a DD overall, but you have to consider its almost 10 years older than the Z.
You have at your disposal a Honeywell ATG1500
What do you do with it.
Put it in a stanced Civic
swap it into my miata for top fun

They're objectively the best. Cobra R, Boss 302, Bullitt, Mach 1, Terminator, GT500 and GT350.
Dear /o/,
What the fuck is this? It's on a 2013 Mazdaspeed3

Never mind, it's a JBR short shift plate, apparently.

Take a guess. There's a cable, and it's in your transmission.

Sup /o/, I'm from /k/ and need some information on a a car I just bought. I needed car that was good on gas so I went out and bought a 98 civic so automatic transmission. I was just wondering what engine it is likely to have, I live in Canada if that makes a difference.
I'm not very knowledgeable about vehicles, pic not related
