How can I get my seatbelt warning to stop beeping?
My brother somehow wired his so it looks like it's always plugged in and doesn't beep.

Drive your car into a tree at 100+ MPH.
You'll solve the issue by being dead and doing the world a favor

Old people should be banned from driving
You will change that form of thinking once you realize that once you're old, you too won't be able to drive anymore.
>>14593919
Why?
Every person not fit or able to operate a vehicle in a manner that doesnt hinder or endanger themselves or others aswell as posing no danger to materials should have the privilege of driving revoked
Tell me about the LS2 GTO, tell me good thing.

Hey /o/,
I recently bought a 98 Forester with around 120k miles on it, and on the highway it overheated and the temp fluctuated. Well I took it in to the dealer (not a Subaru dealer) and they said the headgaskets were leaking (yes, I knew what I was getting myself into, I just hoped I had more time) and they quoted me $3900 for the repair.
Is this a normal price? I'm calling a good mechanic tomorrow to get a quote.
Will the Coolant Conditioner help? I've read that it's stopped some minor leaks before. The guy at the dealer didn't tell me...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I was literally about to warn you about headgaskets when I saw forester and then even 120k miles.
Then I read the rest.
>>14593350
also 3900 seems quite a lot but then I think working on a boxer is way more time intensive.
>>14593350
Not the smartest decision I've made, I got rid of my oil-burning electrical-failure prone Audi to get it. Car is in perfect condition except this headgasket leak.

What happened to the futuristic designs that vehicles once followed?
Why is everything so minimalistic when it comes to car designs today?
General Motors during the 1950's produced some beautiful cars.

>Why is everything so cluttered when it comes to car designs today?
ftfy
Because the 1950s were a period of utter economic excess and scientific progress in the US that made everyone believe they were rapidly approaching a utopic future, and product design was a reflection. The atmosphere in the US simply began to sober up in the early 60s not just economically but also in social and international politics.
Give me three good reasons why I shouldn't buy this.

The common issues and the cost of maintenance, and over all the quality
The good news is they used 4.0 Rover V8s in a lot of stuff, bad news is cost of maintenance.
>400hp/tq 6.0L LS2
>6-speed trans
>Australian as fuck
>Functional back seats and trunk
>"Quiet" styling
>Superb interior quality
It's like having a Corvette, but with better interior, more practicality, and no massive "I'm better than you" flag waving everywhere.
Why shouldn't I do it, /o/?
Except it handles like a turd compared to a corvette.
They're nice, but you can buy a 5.0 S197/5th Gen SS for not much more.
Also don't look "cool" (easily confused with the Grand Am/Grand Prix), crappy diffs shared with the CTS-V, and rare parts that have to get overnighted from Australia.
Since when is having hood scoops, side skirts and a spoiler "quiet"
