Might be a faulty ground, did any of the other electronics shut off as well?
>>15190490
Check your fuses
>>15190490
This is why you don't buy modern electronic infested cars
I'm thinking about buying this car. They have good reviews and were also recommended in the sticky. Thoughts about this specific civic? Is it a good deal?

>>15190251
It's an automatic so don't put too much trust into reliability. Honda automatics are notorious shit can a minimum of $1500 to replace should anything go wrong.
Look at this one instead.

>>15190267
Yes, Op should get that one. Its way better and will take him to the moon and back
>>15190251
Hah! I pretty much had this exact car but in manual. Sold it like two months ago.
Umm. It's reliable annnnd... Well, that's about it. Enjoy.
Hi guys, Rob Dahm here
Today I will be showing you how I ruined my diablo again
You people spend too much time on Youtube if you even know these people.
>>15190242
he crashed it again?
>>15190252
He melted a bit of the bumper above the exhausts
Also its now showing "check engine" when he starts it
What are some cars that aren't very popular, but you are strangely attracted to?
I've been seeing a lot of the 9th Gen Toyota Corolla S' around lately and I actually really like how they look. If you lower them like pic related, it really makes the body kit look a million times more aggressive. I would drive pic related around everywhere.
i don't even know why
civic shuttle guess, but those are somewhat popular.
although mine would be completely stock with the 14" wheels.
>>15190140
They're hard to get, but I wouldn't call them popular
Broke the yoke on my mustang today. What have you broken most recently?
it broke before the ujoint? wtf
>>15190030
lolleafsprings
>>15190030
wtf is a yoke?
I figured /o/ might be interested.

>>15190002
>conversational skills a plus
You came to the wrong place m8
>>15190010
Eh, I figure here there's a likelihood of people who would talk about car things and weeb things. so it's not like it'd be hard to have a conversation.
>>15190027
I hear ya, I'm sure they would talk about cars but there would be a ton of silence, I'd be interested if I didn't have a kid and other responsibilities, who knows you might luck out here

Hello, I have a problem with my Toyota, the engine is making this weird noise when turning the steering wheel, it sounds like metal cranking but only when turning.
Thank you, in case you're wondering the engine is 1.8L V4 2012 Toyota Yaris
>>15189745
Could be a wheel bearing or worn out cv axle.
Does your steering have fluid?
>>15189745
CV joint needs replacing or repairing
Power steering noise probably
On my way home some womans car on the other side started smokeing like crazy. Smelled burned aswell, anyone might know what she fucked up?
>>15189694
low blinker fluid
>>15189715
This. Or her windshield wiper needed to be replaced
>>15189694
Spun a bearing.
Probably the muffler bearing.
Which would be better? They're around the same price, and the Mustang outperforms the Lexus.
>>15189690
Mustang on the track, probably RCF in a daily situation.
One is a special hype trim Mustang, the other is a sophisticated vehicle meant to last more than 3 years. Take your pick. Brochure racers will defend this.
>>15189690
>track monster vs pigfat gt car
The choice should be obvious
Post your hot wheels.
honda fag here my honda ones are my most prized possesions.

Bump
>>15189663
why arent they out of the box?
Alright /o/, my height is a problem when it comes to cars. I'm 2.03m / 6"8' tall and the only two cars I've felt really comfortable in yet were a Mercedes GLK and ML. (However they weren't mine and I'm not much into SUVs/crossovers) Currently I'm driving a VW Scirocco. Leg room is great but the view is terrible (low windows + goddamn small rear window).
I'm looking for a more fun coupe (something in the 250hp+ range) which I fit into without problems. All articles I've read on this topic bring up cars like the Jaguar F-Type or the 911 which are out of range when it comes to money and the cars I'm somehow fond of (370z and GT86 e.g.) seem to be terrible. Ideas? Not necessarily coupes if it's something noteworthy.
tldr sports cars / sporty cars for guys >2m / >6"7'

miata
>>15189579
Get out.
Go live in the forest with the other giants
What's /o/'s thoughts on Mini Coopers?
Fun but very unreliable
>>15189291
fun, cute, and one of the most unreliable cars currently built.
>>15189291
Previous gens:
rides like shit (even on non-run-flats) might be ok if you have perfect roads
terrible build quality. a pillar trim pulling up before 100k miles, lots of interior rattles
Shitty french turbo engine in the R56. Timing chain tensioner likes to fail.
Current gen
too big but supposedly fixes all the previous problems.
So, my Peugeot Partner 2001 had a flat battery, and when I got it back to life the clock was reset, is there anyone in here who knows how to set it again? There are two knobs in the dashboard, one for the tripcounter stuff and another one for adjusting the lights.
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=how+to+reset+clock+renault+partner+2001
i swear some people should not even own cars
>>15189258
Oh yeah, because i haven't tried googling it, google came up with complete shite results. I
f you found something that might help me, please do post.
There are two buttons in the dashboard, i've tried turning, pushing and holding both of them with nothing happening with the clock.

Get it back from them, sell it for what you can and get something else.
That's a shitty shop. Find another or do the work yourself
>>15189048
I dont plan on letting them touch the car after examining it. and i plan on doing a good deal of the work myself.
>>15189047
that seems like it might be the plan but i don't want to go from that to some shitbox. (I'm on my parents insurance and they will not put a miata on their insurance
