Is definitely Lada with bodykit
It seems that this car is widely lauded around here. But isn't it just a under powered, overpriced fedora machine for interior designers, hairdressers, or other poor GenXs'.
It's cheap and is one of the best corner carvers out there. It's not a straight-line car.
Now nobody else respond to this bait.
>>14042780
It merely took over where s2000 left off.
Price is pretty incredible for what it is. Next to unbelievable.
Fuck C7 vs R35
M3 vs S197
and M3 a shit
Lol no gt is 31 off the lot
>>14042497
If you're a retard at buying cars that's true
If you have a set of balls then $31k is absolutely possible
Isn't that the gen before they got IRS? so a solid axle car is basically pulling the same G's as a bimmer. i also thought it was the Boss 302s that could keep up with the m3's not the GTs
I'm set on getting a fast premium mid size RWD V8 sedan.
I've had it narrowed down to either a 2013 Infiniti M56 or 2013 Mercedes E550. I initially had a BMW 550i was an early choice but I don't want the sheer stress associated with owning an aging V8 BMW, so more or less tossed the idea.
What does /o/ suggest?
>>14042176
>BMW 550
>V8
You probably just mistyped 40, right?
>the sheer stress associated with owning an aging V8 BMW
Of which, when previously taken care of, there is none.
Far less than the modern Merc one's. Lexus should be solid.
>>14042187
>You probably just mistyped 40, right?
No. A V8 5 series is a 550, and I can guarantee you a BMW twin turbo V8 is far more problematic than a Mercedes V8.
>>14042210
You said aged. That's not aged. Fuck, it'll still have a goddamn warranty.
>Tried changing oil myself for first time
>drain oil
>oil filter is on super tight
>after trying for like two hours to get it off, I say fuck it
>pour new oil in and decide to try changing the filter later
Now I'm wondering, if I go to change the filter, will all the oil pour out or just what's in the filter area?
DON'T ANYBODY TELL HIM
So I was changing the oil in my bike the other day and I went to the store to pick up a new filter and oil. And the guy asked me if I wanted an oil box. I said wtf are you talking about. He shows me this cardboard box lined with a plastic bag and filled with this kitty litter type shit. You can use it in place of an oil pan the shit absorbs the Fucking oil, you tape it up and throw it in the garbage. All epa or whoever the fuck approved. Holds up to 5 liters. No cans of old oil sitting in the garage for 3 years. No dropping it off at gas stations in the middle of the night so...

Ever done something clever that saved you a repair or saved a bunch of time on a repair? Please post your clevers.
This one time I was bombing down a side street at about 2am and some dog jumped out in front of my car. Rather than jump the curb and fuck up my wheel/hub/axle/etc., I just went straight and ran it over. Saved me a shitton in repairs, just needed a little Simple Green cleaner to get the bumper back to normal.
jb weld, duct tape, and zip ties

How can I drive without car insurance for like a month until I can afford it?
I just got a renewal notice and my rates went up, and im moving from California in 3-4 months. Ive only got a couple hundred bucks and am newly unemployed. Can I somehow contact progressive and get them off my ass without them reporting me?
Halp /o/ im broke as fuck and need a car to get a new job

Sign up for one of those online companies where you can print your insurance card right away. Then immediately cancel your plan but keep the card.
Why the hell would Progessive "report" you anyway?
>>14040439
Contact them and let them know that you are leaving.
Go to the ghetto and find an insurance company that charges 25 bucks a month and sign up

Hey guys, I bought a manual car without knowing too much about driving manual, what are some good ways to practice or good skills I should learn if I'm going to be driving around?
I know enough to start the car without stalling and drive around with no problems (friend taught me a few months ago and I more or less remembered it) but sometimes I'll do a small burnout when starting from a stop and it's really fucking hard for me to drive forwards/backwards just a little bit when parking, meaning I have to go for the easiest spot to get into/out of while parking.
How...

>How do I do this? From what I understand I have to rev the car to around 1000-1200 RPM and then slowly take the clutch out until it catches and starts to move, and then just hold it there right? Doesn't this burn the clutch?
Yes it does burn the clutch, the trick to learning how not to do that is to learn how to get the car moving without using the accelerator.
Eventually you'll get good enough to do hill starts without rolling but in the mean time learn...

What do you mean? Won't it not get enough gas and stall out? Or is there some way of taking out the clutch that let's it catch and go forward. Is that something I should be trying to learn or should I just use my method for now?
what is better the Ford small block of the Chevy small block?
You're trying to start some shit I can tell.

I mean you've probably roasted a few bearings and journals. Your biggest mistake was when you decided to keep driving on it after you heard your valvetrain singing you the song of its people.....you fucking retard.
