I'm looking to get a g35 coupe please redpill me and why should I not get it,or why should I
>>
Why not a g37?
>>
>redpill me

are you black, asian or a minority in general?

if so, get a g35 coupe.

otherwise, get something that's actually fun to drive.
>>
>>14681228
I like the body and overall look of the g35,though I do like the interior of a g37
>>
>>14681228
I like the overall exterior of the g35 over the g37 but g37 has a superior interior
>>
>>14681230
I'm Hispanic that can easily pass for white, though if not g35 what do you recommend that's similar besides the Z
>>
get an 03 or 04....the 05, 06, and 07 have problems with burning oil and require you get a new head unit or use an fm transmitter just to play music from your phone

make sure you get one with the sport package....brembos are no joke plus you get better suspension and an lsd
>>14681230
t. only driven a 5at without the sport package if any g35 at all
>>

Hyundai Genesis 3.8 track
>>
Get it.
sexy
rwd
280hp
Just make sure to find a 6mt. Also watch for grinds, the transmissions can be a little iffy.
>>
>>14681223

had mine for a bit now, some things to expect...
-i get 14mpg city, expensive when you key in that it only takes premium
-the back seats are pretty damn small
-the clutch seems to be a heavy on/off switch but i still managed to learn how to drive stick on it
-not exactly the most luxurious and soft ride
-expensive upkeep (the multi link suspension has like 6 bushings on each wheel that can go bad)
-these engines burn oil no matter what year you get 03, 04 including
-expensive to purchase in general
mines an 03' w/ 70k miles fully loaded & paid 9k
>>
>>14681340
their transmissions and engines are not as reliable & they depreciate MUCH faster than a g
>>
>>14681459
Premium is 20 cents more a gallon
If that's affecting you probably shouldn't own the car or a car in general
>>
>>14681500
in philly its a .42 cent difference. going from an econo box to this, def noticed how much more im paying for gas.

Pigfat, can't handle for shit, rice tax
>>
>>14681352
the 6mt sucks to use though, terrible shift feel and really vague and weird clutch

that could be fixed with an aftermarket clutch and short shift kit though
>>
>>14681259
>I'm Hispanic that can easily pass for white

Mexican built cars pass for quality too, until you drive them.
>>
>>14681500
Around Columbus OH it's anywhere between 40 or 60 cents more than regular. Stupid shit.
>>
>>14681500
That's a pretty hot assumption you have there

I too have an 03 6mt (pic related.) Mine had 92k when i bought it for 6.5k.
-I average 16-17 mpg city.
-Rear seats are small if you compare to a sedan but seem big to me coming from a mk4 gti. Those rear seats were nonexistant. Guess its all perspective.
-Clutch is definetly the heaviest of any manual i've driven. I definetly got used to it and i prefer it now.
-Mine doesn't burn oil.
Drove it 6k miles so far. Blast to drive, have not had any major issues except for a notchy gearbox. Would recommend it. Previous owner did a muffler delete which is shit but I have a true dual catback I ordered for it a while back that I haven't gotten around to install yet.
>>
It's ugly as fuck m8
>>
>>14681629
have you done anything to the shifter/clutch/trans?

Not really. Previous owner had the clutch replaced right before selling it. It feels pretty strong.
I did change the transmission fluid with redline mt-85 to make it smoother but it didn't really do anything. The transmission is only rough when it's cold though. Feels perfect when warm, something i could live with.
>>
>>14681612
In first world states that's how it works
Didn't know your shit states had a 60 cent difference
>>
>>14681884

>>
the coupe is heavier than the 4 door
>>
>>14681459
>>14681629
These are both great info thanks,it helps me weigh options and experiences
>>
>>14681340
Not a bad recommendation
>>
>>14681973
That doesnt make sense. Why?
>>
>>14682061
Apparently on the official Nissan page, the coupe is heavier by 5-90 pounds, don't know why though
>>
>>14681223
Get a Mustang instead,

I wouldn't mind have keeping mine if I didn't trade it for a FX35 08 just before winter. Fuck you Canada. The design on the older infinities is fucking smooth.

I have a '08 four door with 67k miles on it and I only paid $15k for it
- it really sucks on gas: I average around 16-17 mpg(I floor it A LOT)
-it's a pretty quick car: you'll have a crap load of fun with it and it's better than any v6 mustang desu
>>
>>14681223
>>14681228
>>14681240
go for the g37, you'll be a lot happier.
>>
If it makes you feel better OP, the G35/37 get similar MPG to the v6 camry, GS300, TL-S. In other words, MPG is not as bad as people make it out to be. Driving the shit out of the camry will also result in 13-16mpg in the city.
>>
>>14684004
And why is that
