I find current Mercedes design to be way too ornamental. Gradients and embossing and 3D everything. I hate their infotainment system too, have to use that stupid knob and there are too many menus to get anything done.
It's not very puristic, if that's the sort of design your taste is.
Mechanics tend to have a bad reputation no matter where you go. Sometimes they cheat you out of your money by doing stupid shit you didnt ask for. Other times they dont replace the parts that are needed. And sometimes they literally sabotage your car so you will return and spend more money.
Why the fuck do they do this shit? How do you find a reliable and honest car mechanic? And how can you tell they meet those qualities?

Find a guy who's been doing it a while. My mechanic's been in business since with his father since 1962. He's honest and fair and specializes in older models; never had an issue.

This is literally 50% of the reason I started getting into cars.
Because good mechanics exist, and they aren't even hard to come by, but they're expensive.
This happens in any trade where you don't know what you're looking at and they do. Someone with basic Plumbing, Electrical and automotive skills can save themselves a lot of money.

Clutch pedal has no weight to and is really easy to push in. I'm guessing first bleed the fluids? I already checked the levels(brake and clutch) and they're okay. Besides bleeding it, what else should I do afterwards? Google said it could be the slave cylinder but I'm not sure
Everyone on /o/ has a boner for RWD, but I honestly can't buy a RWD DD because I can't go up icy hills in the winter. They won't plow the streets in my area. It iced about 0.75in and then snowed ~4in on top of that; even with FWD and snow tires installed it took me a ridiculous amount of time to get up the hill to where I live. RWD would have been hell because the rear end would have been all over the place. /o/ is always saying "RWD in snow is OK with snow tires" or "RWD in snow is fine if you know how to drive a car" but I am not buying this shit at all. I have to drive in the snow for around 60 mi a day during work days, and I can't just call in because my car won't get there.
What does /o/ do to miraculously transform their RWD vehicle into a tracked all terrain vehicle whenever it snows? Otherwise I am sticking with FWD.

Finally managed to source a brand new radiator for my baby.
You can't even imagine how hard it can be to get a hold of a radiator/intercooler unit for this piece of shit, in the EU none the less.
GF is at her parents place for the weekend, so I'm completely free to do whatever I want.
Gonna replace that thing today after I get some sleep and head for the shop. Also thinking I should swap out the timing and aux belts as I've been using the same ones for the past 5 or so years. Actually, that aux belt should be okay because my old alternator seized and snapped the belt. Heats shot through the roof in like a god damn millionth of a second, but I think I managed to get a hold of the fucker in time. Head gasket seems to be okay, doesn't smoke, lose oil or coolants so I can only hope I got off with a really good scare.
Also I might get some new tires as the current ones are ancient and I don't trust tires that have sat outside for 5 years.
