My Acura was hit and run'd by some fuckface at the parking lot by my place.
This happened in february, i made the claim today to my insurance to check on the damage on my right side fender.
I-I drove a v8 for the first time in my life today /o/. I've been driving for near 10 years but the whole time between my own vehicles and my parents they have all been inline 4s and V6s. That effortless power was amazing, I felt like I didn't have to press the accelerator to easily match and pass the flow of traffic. My current car has a turbo 4 cylinder at 18psi and I dont even want to drive it anymore, hold me /o/
hold me.
V8 thread.

Shamefully copied from legendary VINbro's threads
>I am able to run US/Canadian VINs (anything with a fitting VIN; bikes, cars and so on) and US plates. For plates the same rules apply as VINs; 1981 or newer, US registered, and the plate and state are needed. Plates do work most of the time, but VINs are more reliable.

Music that enhances the almost sexual euphoria of driving very dangerously.
I find hardstyle (euphoric style a little more so than rawstyle) works pretty well.
>>15008670
Bump cause I wanna know too, my suggestion Suicide Boys or Ramirez
Also fast pop-punk is good. Burnout 3 probably conditioned that in me though.
Here's an example of the kind of hardstyle that I think is good for it.

Right now. Meet me at the usual place
So I am a huge cheapass... I have only owned 8+ year old cars, and I usually buy them with 125k+ miles on them. This is all fine and good, but I sort of want a newer car (like 2013+).
I have been looking at the turbocharged Chevy Sonics (LTZ / RS) ... I currently drive an Impala boat of a car, so it would be interesting to size down for a change.
For an entry-level subcompact, how is this car? I am in stop-and-go highway traffic for about two hours a day, so I want an automatic car. People say Ford Fiesta beats this, but I have little faith in the weird automatic...

>wants automatic
Choose one, cause in the subcompact level, if you want pep or fun to drive, it has to be manual
>>15006536
> if you want pep or fun to drive, it has to be manual
No. Manual is annoying as fuck and I will never buy a manual car again unless I am thrown back into the 1920's by a temporal portal.
>>15006543
t. Never driven a manual
>BMW M2 is over 50% more expensive
>even with its stupid DCT is only 0.1 faster round a track
Beaten by a Ford Focus, is this the end for BMW? The M2 is even faster than an M4 around a track, meaning the Focus RS is comparable to an M4 at half the price, what a fucking joke.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_LCunEbH44
>>15001047
Faster is faster
> but muh price
An interior that doesn't rattle itself apart after 3 months isn't cheap
>>15001047
bmw fucked up. i don't understand why it only has 365 hp out of a modern turbo i6.
So if the M2 matches the camaro SS and the focus matches the M2.....
Does /o/ run in your family? Pic related, mine and my brother's car
>>14995129
I guess so. This is a pic of my dad's garage a while back. We both ride motorcycles.
In the sense that my Dad and I do maintenance on all the cars my family drives
>>14995129
It doesn't, sadly. At all. My sister doesn't really care about cars and my parents really don't give a shit as long as it get s them from A to B in a somewhat comfortable manner and has a ton of room to haul stuff.
At least my dad does his own maintenance, sorta.
Why does noone here talk about this fucking car?
It's faster than a porsche and most other supercars short of the bugatti and that needs 1k horsepower to even match it.All while retaining a luxurious interior and technological finesse.
