Should I?

>Cranky CV joint and poor front end suspension.

So, do standard brakes have an advantage or acceptable tradeoff over ABS brakes? This goes for both cars and bikes, on road and off road.

lolno

>>15423307
for spirited driving there are theoretical situations where you would want to lock your breaks although it's "traction control" that really takes the fun out
>>
>>15423307
you can push them closer to the grip limit of the tires than ABS can.

Will you make more cars like the M2 in the future and return to your roots of making practical, fun, sports cars?

Or will you continue to pander to the growing Chinese/Indian markets by building bloated tech loaded isolated luxury cars in a fruitless effort to compete with Audi and Mercedes Benz?

And why do you guys obsess over using plastic/bakelite and rubber in the weirdest fucking places even places they shouldn't be used. Seat gears, water pump impellers, clutch/brake pedal bushings, balljoint cups, etc. WHY? Is it because the EU mandates a certain % of the car as being biodegradable?
>>
>>15423250
Who cares? New cars are shit. Bmws especially since they don't have dipsticks.

So. Aut/o/,

I have a question. I have a stock bore 440. 4.320" bore (IIRC). The bore is still good, same with the pistons.

Now, I want to use thinner head gaskets, but the only thinner gaskets I can find are for 4.350" bores. Could I use these? Or am I basically stuck with factory thickness head gaskets?

You're stuck with using the correct part.

If I remember correct, most head gaskets have a larger bore anyways so that it doesn't squish into the cylinder when torqued down.
>>
>>15423215
Factory head gaskets are steel shim types about .020 think, the usual blue composite replacement ones are 0.039-0.040

Almost every head gasket is made with a bigger than the largest overbore size though. For a 440 usually the fire ring is about 4.410. The only gaskets I know of that have exact bore sizes are Cometics, but even the thinnest ones are about .020, no thinner than the factory type.

Here we have the stereotypical mexi-truck
notice how the truck is lifted and is meant for offroad.

Offroading scares the mexican and so to retaliate against such scary endeavors he slaps on big gangsta rims with thin ass tires.

This is to ensure that not only is the truck worthless for any offroad job/fun it is now so repulsive.

The mexi-truck has similarities with the mexi-grandma car.

Both share retarded rims on a vehicle that shouldnt have them

They are usually "spinnas" as this lets the local mexican girls know that this homie is "Dope as a fly is high"

Please post examples of mexi-vehicles

or niggering of vehicles

We should have this thread as an educational experience for future generations

How to deal with people who put rotas on their cars?

When I am driving along and I see a thieving scumbag poser, who doesn't care about the car industry and they pull up next to me and say "Nice car" how do you deal with it.

I normally try ignore them but sometimes I turn my nose up at them and sometimes even give them the finger.

Is it a good idea to buy a car with a broken AC? The owner says he replaced the AC. How much in repair costs am I looking at?

If he isn't fixing it for the sale, it's probably a broken compressor or something big. Just take $400 off what you'd offer for one with working AC.

They've had three bop changes to the Ford GT reducing boost and adding weight making it significantly slower than ever before. The Corvette had a .4 restrictor reduction and weight removed making it nearly as fast as it was at Daytona. It finished seconds in front of the Corvette. Sit your dumb fucking ass down and shut the fuck up.

What would be a good engine to learn how to rebuild and work on? I was thinking a 4AGE because it's very simple while still being a good engine, like the Mazda BP

Best engine to learn on is the best one for you man. One that you are interested in. Having a boring engine is like cancer. Its fun for the people around you to laugh at you for having, but is really depressing for yourself.
