Is Britain still a world power? People still listen to their music and watch their tv/movies, so they're still a cultural power r-right?
The only world powers are America and China
UK is a "soft world power" or whatever

Fresh off the boat, from reddit, kid? heh I remember when I was just like you. Braindead. Lemme give you a tip so you can make it in this cyber sanctuary: never make jokes like that. You got no reputation here, you got no name, you got jackshit here. It's survival of the fittest and you ain't gonna survive long on 4chan by saying stupid jokes that your little hugbox cuntsucking reddit friends would upboat. None of that here. You don't upboat. You don't downboat. This ain't reddit, kid. This...

There once was a guy in central Europe named Vak.
Vak had down's syndrome, and so people called him Slow Vak. With time, this simply became "Slovak".
Despite his mental condition, Slovak managed to have many children with his sister, after which he had even more children with his daughters. And so began a long tradition of horrible inbreeding within the Slovak family. After a few generations, the Slovaks were already numbering in the hundreds, all of them very inbred and mentally retarded....

The North American Union
>two days after the Union, the NAU broke into civil war
Why would anyone be mad over this?
>>61517616
Sadly, it'll never happen. Even if you were to take all of North America proper - so the entire continent north of the Panama Canal plus the majority of the Caribbean - the United States would still end up having slightly more than half the total population. This would mean that the NAU would be immensely US-dominated, and every other country would simply become US states in all but name.
Now, mind, *I* personally don't think that's a bad thing. But Mexico, Canada, Cuba, etc., certainly would.
Who has experience learning languages using resources in a language different to your native tongue? I have a goal of learning chinese, japanese, and korean, starting with korean, the apparent easiest. I read that these languages are very similar and speakers of one can swiftly learn the other two, so I was thinking of cutting the middle man and learning the next language in the last. Would this be advisable?
>>61516370
Japanese and Korean are similar each other in grammar, but Chinese is much different from the two.
