WARNING: This is not a bant thread, or a stupid thread, it is actually a real vivence.
I always wanted to visit a foreign country. I was saving money since 2009 and this christmas holydays I finally got enough money to travel as a tourist
I could go to European countries what seemed to be boring and too known for me, or some middle eastern or african country. South american countries were too damn expensive don't know the reason.
Well, finaly I decided to go to Iran. I went to Qom, near the capital, a really nice city considered sacred by chiites.
The city is really, really nice, but I was shocked because people from there, with their exceptions, didn't looked moor. They have a look that I classify as "mediterranean/indian", facially they might remember you an indian, but their white skin colour and some other facial features reminds you to Spain, Italy or southern France.
People also looked really civilized even considering that Iran is an islamic state. I previously went to Morocco and people is loud, dirty, and usually disgusting. Iranian people wasn't like this. And streets are surprisingly clean. They're educated and some of them know english enough to hold a conversation.
So that's my message. Guys, Iran, or at least Qom, is a really nice place. It's beautiful and people is polite and nice. If you're considering visiting some middle eastern country, I strongly reccomend you Iran.
