Iranian guy born and raised in Essex here. Family is Baha'i and left shortly before the 1979 Islamic revolution after several Baha'is were imprisoned or executed for their religion. Love England (especially London where I work and mostly go out), feel my mind-set is mostly British, speak Persian fluently and enjoy many aspects of Persian culture. Experienced racism rarely, mostly when I was a kid from other kids, I find white girls in Essex don't usually go for non-white guys, though it's not the same in London.
