Whether Russia is European country or not was a very disputable question in 19th century. Now the majority of Russians don't consider ourselves Europeans, we say we are just Russian or Eurasian.

The only different regions are Dagestan, Chechnya and Ingushetia because of war, and even they are not REALLY different, I would say retarded. We are not really cold country. Our summers are very hot actually, but the winters are harsh. It's called "continental climate". We have +30 in a summer and -30 in a winter.

Russians are not traditionalists really. Our divorce and abortion rates are high, most of people get married multiple times. We are also pretty civilized with woman rights, they are literally absolutely equal to males. People fuck here often not being married and it's considered okay.
