Costs are higher in the UK than Russia so £1 goes further in Russia than it does here.

The pronunciation of the letter R is similar, and in the south we commonly use the "tu" pronoun, just like in Portugal. But that's about it.
In places like Florianópolis, the pronunciation of the S is also similar to European Portuguese
But the slightly frenchy way Portuguese people pronounce the vowels, that's found nowhere in Brazil.
