I've got a means to save /v/. Ban literally everybody who posts along a timeframe that indicates that they're there all day long. If they post many many times across two hours, fine. If they post infrequently all day long, every day of the week, not fine. Take about a month to gather as much data as you want on different IPs and then sweep through and ban everybody who trips the wire.

I have only ever spent a decent length of time on 8. But even if I used all of the other chans,I would still hate 8 the most by far due to personal reasons.
A shit load of threads are being deleted from /mlp/ with no rhyme or reason. Any thread complaining about it are being deleted as well.

Lets comprise a list of all things which make up 4chan-core. Basically, video games, anime, movies, tv shows, albums, and books which are connected to 4chan, usually through 4chan starting some kind of iconic joke about the piece of media (for example, The Dark Knight Rises would obviously be included on this list due to baneposting and how far it has spread or how American Psycho became associated with dubs). I'll get some obvious ones out of the way and you guys add (or request something be removed if you disagree with its inclusion)

As unfair as it is to /jp/, /jp/ really isn't a very high quality board to begin with. Still, I know quite a few of those threads should sooner be deleted than sent to any other board. Very few threads should ever be moved to another board instead of being deleted.

Hiroyuki sensei I suggest that all Mods and Janitors on every board should have IDs whenever they post or ban someone just as a form of accountability to keep this from happening. That way, if one over steps their bounds, users can report them and they can be held accountable for their abuse of power if they get too many complaints.

Sorry to say, /vr/ is affected as well. Our Dreamcast threads keep getting deleted for "not retro," even though the sticky clearly states they are retro. Go figure.
The janitor is barely active to begin with, but when he is, he not only deletes Dreamcast discussions, but also nukes random posts from various other threads all in one massive sweep. I started a thread about Gauntlet once. Gone within minutes, and I was even warned for posting it.

I think it would be great if we switched the board communities around, maybe even combine them a bit. Say /tg/ switches with /vp/ and /co/ switches with /mlp/.

Forms of moderating systems.
Anarchy A - Every OP is responsible for his own thread. He can moderate 1 thread at a time.
Anarchy B - Every anon has some form of power over one another.
Socialism - A poster may not make a thread or excessively bump unless he has fresh content ro post.
Fascism - The mods and janitors are allowed to do anything they want with the users and the boards they moderate over.
Monarchy - Only 1 true admin per board. No janitors and no report functions. Users may have a sticky thread for requesting things to the admin.
