4chan is a social website. No matter how much the original intent of the board was to create a completely anonymous community, it's impossible to upkeep. Hence why tripfags are a phenomena, and /soc/ is a thing.
In light of this, 4chan has adopted an anathema towards social interactions outside of anonymity. There is a constant stream of hate (and mutes/bans) for people who want to meet with their fellow anons outside of the tertiary aspect of board & post communication. It's slow and mechanical, but if you question it, you get re-directed to a cancerous containment board.
/soc/ is not 4chan. It's a world of chaterbate-tier, sexual, attention-whoring debauchery, and it's not for the anon. We need a place for the anon who wants to just meet friends to chat with, who feel no need to wank off in front of a camera for pixelated titties.
Like I mentioned earlier, people are extremely turned off by the idea of /soc/ because of its NSFW aspect, with cock rate threads next to the innocuous weeb networking threads, and etc. shit.

/pol/ is not anymore a satire or a place where you can talk about politics with cynicism, a lot of people there are legitimately ultraconservatives and even reactionaries who shit not only to everything that is Left-Wing, but anything that is moderate Right-Wing too (for example: the meme "c_u_ckservative"). /pol/ is not anymore just a issue for 4chan, but for the Internet too since they have no shame to raid people for ideological matters, they don't care about the rules, they don't care about respect for other boards, they only care about their "mission" and their ideology.
The point of this thread is not only to share solutions to prevent or even, if possible, stop their cancer, but to make them understand the gravity of the situation and why they are a problem too!

Or make it so any thread older than 3 hours (or any other arbitrarily chosen time period) starts to autosage and can no longer be bumped no matter how active it is.
It's pretty annoying to see some threads stay up for literally 6+ hours after all discussion in them has died because one person keeps bumping them whenever they reach page 8-9.
