Stop lying to yourself, mods and devs. Unlike most of 4chan's community, you all hate /pol/, you despise us, you wish we didn't exist, you constantly berate /pol/ (e.g. /his/ sticky, "keep /pol/ in /pol/", etc.), you filter one of our precious memes, and you enabled flags and IDs on /pol/ to punish us (well moot did).
Now /pol/ is/was my home board, I rarely posted anywhere else. I've been with them since Margret Thatcher died, I remember moot saying /pol/ was completely "hands-off" moderation (God knows what happened to that) and I remember a mod telling anti-/pol/ posters to get fucked (God knows what happened to him).
Since you despise us so much now, I think it would be for the best if you just deleted /pol/ so we can all move to somewhere else that doesn't have mods/devs that hate us. It's win-win, you get rid of us and we are all encouraged to move somewhere new.
Maybe make a heavily moderated /news/ board to replace it.

Splitting /v/ has nothing to do with "fixing /v/."
/v/ is and will always be a lost cause. Nothing you can do can fix it. /v/ will always find a way to shitpost.
The point of making /vg/, /vr/, and /vp/ was not to "fix" /v/, it was to create a good board with a good community, free from the wasteland of shitposting that will always be /v/.

Hello /qa/, I'm new here so forgive any informality - I journey here across from many boards along 4chan. After lurking through a few threads on this board it seems to me like I'm in the right place. This site has brought me many years of good times and much information to add to my database, though in my profession I keep finding myself limited to certain (more inappropriate) boards when wanting to discuss one of the most important topics in the world. I feel as though there should be a board where the medical communities of the world can collaborate for discussion, and lay persons can come to question their biology with disgusting pictures without ridicule. Along those lines I feel like such a board would be a great addition to the site and the world in essence, and deserves a chance.

Are you going to tell me there aren't less functional boards on the site? In fact there is more than one containment board for idiots, and idiots comprise a large number of visitors every year.
