Which board has the best userbase?

Can't disagree there.

May I suggest an /img/ board? A board devoted simply to random, novel, intriguing imagery. It would ideally be worksafe, and hopefully moderated adequately so it isn't flooded with spam or low quality content. Just anything eye-catching that you've found browsing the web but with no place to really post it. I'm not suggesting something like tumblr. Hopefully it would be thematically similar to Hmmm threads, but not just Hmmm quality images. Hopefully as well the majority of content posted wouldn't be glossy, polished, or artful, but amateur and candid.

I'd like to see a trial of the /web/ board, but call it /iaa/ - Internet Addicts instead.
And make it a text board.
And bring back the rest of the text boards, while you're at it.

>And make it a text board.
While I would like the text boards to be brought back most would have very low traffic relative to the image boards.
Also, I'll post a few images just to give more of an idea of why it'd be cool to have an /img/ board.
I take back the below.
>glossy, polished, or artful, but amateur and candid
Not sure what I'd want on /img/ exactly but I just wouldn't want it to be exactly like a tumblr feed.

Why do people act like Hiro's creating too many boards? Do you not realize Moot created a lot more boards at a time back when he was actually active? Or are you just too new?
Fact of the matter is, we had gone a LONG time without boards until recently. If anything we could still stand to have a few more.
He's created four new boards in less than two months, if moot ever did that it was around the site's conception. No matter how you slice it, gooku is being an absolute madman with these new boards.

people fear change

Didn't /lgbt/, /vr/, /asp/, /gd/ and /s4s/ all happen at around the same time?
>getting triggered this bad
Not really, you're just getting told to fuck off.
>mfw /his/ wants to be the anti /pol/ so bad but its NEVER EVER going to happen
>>348258
They came really damn close to becoming /leftypol/ at one point
I hope Hirohito sells the IPs of all lolishitters on /qa/ to the fucking FBI
>>348060
Hello 8gag
You can't sell IP addresses to the FBI.
>/qa/ is slowly becoming like /q/
How do we fix /qa/, /qa/ckers?
We can't, Hiro actually responding to /q/ posters was the final straw
>>348004
first fix /d/
>>348011
>responding to /qa/ posters
Is that what you meant?
What does /qa/ think of the idea of God?
http://strawpoll.me/6027026
>>347988
OP why do you believe in god.
I can tell because you capitalize the word and because you are the only other vote in the poll.
>>347992
I'm a deist
There are 3 votes already
>>347988
if he exist he clearly doesn't give a shit so why should I?
Enough with the new boards already. At this rate you're going to dilute the community to the point where all but the fastest-moving boards are barren. There's already a chan out there for people who want eight zillion boards for every tiny niche interest, topic, and fetish. We don't need to emulate them and we don't need to emulate Reddit.
Seriously what's the point of /trash/? We already had three no-topic, rules-free NSFW boards; why did we need a fourth? Why do western and eastern cartoon porn need separate boards? Especially when everyone...

Shut. The fuck. Up.

you have a point, but all the boards added are trial boards, not permanent ones
/trash/ is the only board i'm in disagreement with so far, just because it is pretty much a 2nd /b/. why not just move all the offtopic threads to /b/ instead of creating a second board (where people can create new threads on top of the moved threads)
i like how creative hiro is compared to moot. it's a lot like moot when he first created 4chan.
>>347850
/trash/ is /fur/. How many times do we have to say this before people realize it's true.
>if you don't like anime you're from reddit
>r/anime has over 300 000 members
Why are weebturds always so retarded and pathetic?
you realize you prove the weebs right in your argument, right?
>300k people
>relevant
It's a pretty small subreddit for a topic of that kind. /r/4chan has 710k.
Hello reddit. New wordfilter suggestion:
The word "This". It's used as an upvote in lieu of actual argumentation. Possible replacements:
>swiss
>piss
>chris
>miss
>tiss
> fliss
>balony
https://anon.to/5tbhC3
>>347781
"This" is used more often in normal speech than in way you describe, filtering would be retarded.
>>347816
This. You are beyond retarded OP
My 6-year ban has just been lifted. What did I missed?
The downfall of 4chan.
>6-year ban
Are you serious?
>>347746
No.
Nothing. Now tell us why you were banned including a screenshot, why you're stupid enough to not ban evade, and why we should care.

That's the way to motivate him. Insult him in a language he's only 90% proficient in. Do you think he knows what you mean by 'hack' ?

better>?
We need /hp/, now.
I can see a great potential in a board about health and medicine, where anon's can disscuss medical advances, share great health information/tips and disc cuss anything related to the medical field.
>inb4 muh /sci/
/sci/ is for science & math, but although medicine falls under the science section having quality discussion about it is very hard to come across on there.
>>347696
>my stomach hurts /hp/, am i going to die?
>yes
Great idea, really.
My friend just became an EMT and he browses 4chan occasionally. He would browse it way more often if there was a health and medicine board.
Happy Birthday Hiro
