How does it make you feel that 80% of 4chan memes are created and pioneered by a single "community" of less than 50 anons?
How does it make you feel that this "community" literally RUNS 4chan?
absolutely based
Fucking newcunts
/nrl/ literally runs the Australian 4chan community
The Australian 4chan community literally runs all of 4chan
You are all slaves the /nrl/ masters. Puppets, dolls, nothing more than toys dancing to the tune of /nrl/ supremacy.
Many of you are completely unaware of this, further proving the pathetic nature of this futile recaltricant attitude towards the /nrl/ overlords.
Submit now and you may be spared the fledgling remains of your "dignity".

Guys can we PLEASE add some ids or at least flags to /g/?
It's really needed when we have so many bait threads here.
There is almost no decent tech discussion anymore.
Also can we replace the words pajeet, shill, poo in loo with something else like how they do with desu, senpai, desu?
The whole board is basically turning into /pol/.
>>>/g/54476155
>>526177
Wow somebody admitting that flags are just a way to force ids on smaller countrys in a pro flag thread
Also your a faggot
>>526177
>Guys can we PLEASE add some ids or at least flags to /g/?
Fucking why?
>It's really needed when we have so many bait threads here.
If they are bait threads, ergo shitposting threads, the anons baiting wouldn't have a problem bypassing the flag/ID system in the same way they have no problem bypassing the ban system.
>The whole board is basically turning into /pol/.
That's because it's a normalfag shithole. All normalfag shitholes turn into /pol/. It's the natural progression.
>>526177
No,no and no.
Can we talk about why pro wrestling is on /asp/? It isn't a sport or a competition, its strictly a /TV/ show, why not mover it to /TV/?
>>526163
KITTY~
>>526163
Because /asp/ was pretty much created specifically so that wresting threads would fuck off /sp/.
Nobody wants those autists.
>>526222
/asp/ was created for people that don't participate in main stream sports, but still in activities that can be considered a sport or intense activity.
I'm posting this so that I may try to better understand the reason I had for a ban yesterday. Maybe some Anons here can provide some insight into it. The reason cited for the ban was breaking Global Rule 3.
This was the specific post in question: http://i.imgur.com/e6aFhAN.jpg
And this was the image in said post: http://i.imgur.com/O7hkjXi.jpg (I don't want to risk another ban by making it the image for this thread of course)
Now I can already expect the response that it was a ban for posting anthromorphic (furry), but here's where the question really comes into play. Please refer to the thread where this image was posted.
>>>/vg/141547809
The image itself was just rule 63 of Asriel, a character from the game. The very same game whose general I was posting in. Even the OP of the thread is this character, and it came out unscathed. There are literally dozens of other images that could be constituted as furry in this thread, and a half dozen or so of the very same character I was posting (the rule 63 version).
So what component of this specifically broke Global Rule 3 that these other posts did not? The post wasn't off-topic, as there wasn't really a topic in place to begin with. It wasn't a troll, flame, catch-phrase or macro image, or any other part of GR3. It was a R63 image of a game character, and there were plenty of other images of the very same character R63, so it wasn't that. The only other images in this thread that were deleted were literally porn, and at worst this could only possibly be described as lewd. It's not even the lewdest thing that remains in the thread either. What singled this post out as needing to be banned while all of the others remained to be archived?
>>526115
People like you are the reason the fandom has a bad image. Well and /v/tards being so easiyl triggered and riled up.
>>526117
Please explain - I'm just trying to see the reasoning for the ban. There were plenty of other posts which could have easily fallen under the same rule. What set mine apart?
>>526119
It looks more suggestive than the OP.
It's also entirely possible that it's the only post that got reported.

T'CHALLAAAAAA
What if, if we check the spoiler box without an image attached to the post, it gives the whole post a spoiler tag?
even more, if an image is attached, spoiler everything, both the image and the post.
or perhaps 2 spoiler boxes, one for image and 1 for the whole post.
>>525950
I would like a button that inserts a spoiler tag because nothing is more embarrassing than making a typo when typing spoiler tags.
Hell no. There's already enough people using spoiler tags for the most trivial shit and their sensitive "pls no bully" opinions rather than things that warrant a spoiler tag. We don't need to make the process easier for them.
Alright first time making a thread here so feel free too slaughter me. But this is something I think should be done. There is little hope of salvaging /b/ from the depth of cancer that it has fallen into. I would greatly appreciate anyone who would consider helping me push the idea of a new board. I know its a lot too ask, but /b/ needs the help. Just like when the /mlp/ board split from us, we need another favor. /fet/ a board for all the fetishes that inhabit /b/. Trap, foot, fur and all the other fetishes that consume valuable thread slots. I know its a lot to ask, but its a step in the right direction for bringing back the okay /b/.
>>525893
Even if you make a containment board, the same things will still be there on /b/, because why pick up and leave to another board unless the mods force you?
I've heard rumblings for a worksafe b that I think could be a good idea. Do away with all the porn entirely and allow everything else.
/b/ was always cancer. Get over it, reddit.
>>525898
its worked somewhat for /mlp/. But wouldn't you rather make a thread in a place where people wont shitpost you.. or atleast as bad.
Can we turn /int/ into "/int/ - Languages" or just outright create a languages board? Here's my reasoning in a few topic:
>/his/, /trv/ and /news/ have all taken away from /int/ the few topics it had to discuss, or simply do them better, making /int/ a redundant board. Except for the topic of languages, which do not belong on any of those boards.
>giving /int/ a strict topic would make it easier to curb shitposting as it would become more clear what is on-topic and what isn't.
>/int/ generals could be turned into language generals instead which would re-purpose their current chat-like format into something actually useful.
>Ultimately languages are already the main topic of whatever serious discussion /int/ ever has.
Truth be told I simply enjoy language learning and wish there was a place on this website for it, /int/ could be that place but as of right now it's relegated to "/b/ with flags" status. Maybe even a general "learning/studies/self-improvement" board with a language general would be good enough for me.
I'm also open to alternatives.
why are people here obsessed with getting rid of shitposting as it just magically appeared in the last few years
>>525803
Because they magically appeared in the last few years and still don't understand how 4chan works.
>>525756
>Truth be told I simply enjoy language learning and wish there was a place on this website for it
They have a language learning general on /a/.
You can pretty much create any general on /a/ as long as you are consistent in spamming it and act out like a screaming autist every time the mods try to moderate it. Eventually the mods will give up and allow it to exist, with complete immunity from moderation.
Have a look yourself: boards.4chan.org/a/thread/141316049/
If you want such a space, just brute force your own general. /a/ has dogshit moderation so it will eventually end up becoming a permanent fixture. What language/s are you interested in?
New /co/ mod sucks!
>Spammed Civil War threads okay
>AoS thread okay
>Loud House talkback thread okay
>LoT threads okay
>Gotham threads deleted
Asshole needs to be replace by someone who knows what they're doing.
>>525750
Wouldn't this actually be his first day on the job? LoT/AoS/etc haven't aired yet
>movie spamming okay
>avatarfagging on movie threads okay
>youtubers reviewing movies okay
>comic threads with some kind of controversial matter or mentioning the other comic book sites not okay
>>525757
And yet there were threads that weren't talkbacks that were being left alone.
If the mods deleting generals all the time has taught us anything, it's that a show currently airing can get a thread, but if it's not on TV it's not allowed.
And that doesn't make the Civil War threads any better.
>>525808
>comic threads with some kind of controversial matter or mentioning the other comic book sites not okay
also
>criticizing DC okay
>criticizing Marvel not okay
This has gone on long enough, Hiro.
hiro get rid of that and re-add textboards yousilly nip i mean come on you basically invented them
>>525708
What has? Longcat?
>>525714
People are really butthurt over Hiro putting a picture of a space shuttle on 4chan's frontpage.

It is extremely obvious /v/'s problem is simply its massive traffic compared to literally every other board on the site. It makes it unable to be well moderated, it makes it impossible for users to relevantly self moderate, it's directly related to its size. That's why /v/ also has the most spin off boards.
It's impossible to discuss anything beyond whatever 3 or so topics are most relevant because of how quickly the board moves and threads fall off, there's no space for smaller discussion and the board's speed is too fast relative to its size. The board needs a bigger catalog.
>>525627
I mostly agree with you. Its video game themed /b/ at this point. But a larger catalog isn't going to fix anything because, in my opinion, its just too far gone
