So I've talked with mods on IRC a few times over the years and the impression I get is that there isn't any system that tells them what mod/janitor is deleting what. If you ask them what a mod or janitor was thinking they won't know because they have no idea who did what. Why? It's like you're going out of your way to make sure a mod or janitor can't be held responsible for their actions and insure that they can just do whatever they want.

Yeah people are different, but we're all just people. Everything's in a state of evolution. I can only speak for myself.. I have those times where I feel the world that way and I can't help but see my way as being the right way, but then there's other times when I can see outside the box and be wiser. It's a flux, nobody's to blame because it's natural.

It's a combination of 2 things.
1) Valid points are usually brought out when an issue is somewhat fresh. As time goes on and they encounter and endless wave of new people asking them the same questions over and over they get sick of it and instead resort to small comments that imply the person new since they haven't seen all these arguments going on. Probably hoping that this accusation will make them go look up past arguments in the archives or something.
2) Some people abuse it by just immitating the final behavior described above to give the impression that it's something that has been debated to death (whether it really has or not) and their side ended up being the obvious winner in the end.
So some people do it for legitimate reasons and they might actually have very good reasons even if they don't feel like explaining it for that 100th time. While some people really just don't know what they're talking about at all. Unless the person is just a total idiot it's not always possible to tell the two apart.
Probably the only way to solve this problem would be to have some sort of database of arguments. So people can just post a link there and say "read all the points made for this side of the argument" and be done with it.
But I don't know if it would be even possible to maintain such a database.

Just a feature suggestion, I noticed that many websites allow you to drag a picture directly from your web browser somewhere to be used, e.g. the pic is taken from Google Images, you can just hold down your mouse pointer on a graphic, and drop it in the search bar, and Google will reverse search the pic
Would be cool if it worked the same way with 4chan's file button, i. e. instead of saving the pic you want to post, clicking "Browse...", searching for the file you saved, clicking OK and having to wait, you'd just open the pic in another tab, drag it into the 4chan tab and unto the "Browse..." button, and be done with it

Discussing older anime series, films, and OVAs is very difficult on /a/ and often not appropriate for /m/. It's not that there isn't a large enough fanbase for these shows, it's that /a/ is geared more towards currently airing series, long-running generals, and "the usual", NGE, Haruhi, etc. There's plenty you could say about a series like Urusei Yatsura, for example, but the thread would easily lose steam on a fast board like /a/ and end up getting pruned.
So, two suggestions, either a separate board for airing shows, greatly reducing the posting speed on /a/ and making it possible for older and more obscure series to be discussed, or simply a board for anime that fits a certain age criteria, like /vr/ has accomplished.
What do you think?
Rather just have a board for /a/ generals. Both so that people move the existing generals there and so that people stop turning my Hunter x Hunter threads into Hunter x Hunter generals.

/a/nons have explained before in vivid detail how /vg/ and /vr/ ruined /v/ by redirecting all game discussion into the other two (of which /vg/ is apparently extremely fucking circlejerky, and you sure know how circlejerky /a/ generals already are) and leaving /v/ to memes and online celebrities and no games. I don't frequent /v/ so I don't know first hand, but it does seem like that from a glance.
