So /b/ is my homeboard but I browse and post a lot on /a/ and my crux is this: why are rec threads often removed? Anime is always changing and evolving, thus you can't really have a chart or infograph last more than say 3 months before another paradigm shift and the whole game changes on errbody.
Also, snaps to the mods for finally cleaning up the LN mess on that board after many long years, we notice and appreciate it!

They all like to pretend they work for conversation, usually because they're all massive attention whores who don't want to face up to the fact that the websites which allow them to feel special are actually broken pieces of shit. Then you have 4chan which has been getting media attention and they come here and find it strangely compelling for some reason (because discussions are linear and although immature, actually much more intuitive)
They don't care about anonymity or know anything about what this site is supposed to be, but it's the only place they can go to actually have linear conversations.
Someone needs to make a social media site that isn't absolute flaming garbage and then they'll probably all go over there and leave 4chan alone.

No, multiple threads about the same thing do. If there's a general about something you dislike, you simply filter it and you'll never have to worry about them again, while enjoying your 149 other threads per board.
