Why is 8gag allowed to host raid threads on /pol/?
I want legitimate reasons why they're above the rules
They are telling 4chan users to spam reddit, media sites, and cry shill at any type of criticism

The daily 24/7 generals for shows and things like "post your x" shit doesn't help discussion at all and only serves to decrease it. You can only talk about something so much because there is nothing to discuss, after that it becomes just something people use as a chatroom. A good example of those are Madoka and JoJo threads. In addition to that, too many threads are just about specific shows, rather than having a loose topic, which is a result of most threads being generals
Generals used to be discouraged, but over time the mods have gotten lazy, mainly due to the site becoming too big for its own good

Mods still trash some generals on occasion but they just get remade 20 minutes later. It's at an unmanageable level unless you make no generals a legitimate rule.

There is no reason to enforce IDs on 4chan. Tripcodes are enabled and that is enough. Not even /soc/ needs forced IDs due to the existence of tripcodes. Boards like /pol/ and /biz/ are FAR more boring and bland with IDs forcing everybody to think twice before making a post.
Forced IDs go against the very spirit of anonymous discussion and neuter 4chan's creativity and vitality. Everybody should be free to have their post judged on its content alone, without having it tied back to their other posts in a thread.
Anonymous posting was what made 4chan great and a leader of internet culture. Let's get rid of IDs and embrace anonymity again.
