Close to 200 threads were deleted yesterday alone. If that's not strict as hell, then I don't know what is. The fact is, we have a finite number of mods and jannies to throw at potentially infinite shitposters. It's like poking dozens of holes in a wooden boat and trying to cover every leak.

Recently /g/ has decided to not allow desktop threads anymore which means all the people that did post there all moved to /w/ and it's a shitshow.
I get that /g/ mods have decided to clean up what was a mess but it's just moved to /w/ and created a mess there.

On a serious note, can people who purport these shows to be the best actually explain why? Beyond the mere "good characters, good writing, etc.". There's other factors that go into a board other then the amount of posters. Some topics would be stretched thin by having an entire board, so even if they do hit the post quota, discussion would be pretty slow and spaced out. Then there's the fact that some boards would just turn to shit.

For the past year, they have desperately been trying to compensate for their farce of a national identity by trying to co-opt another country's. Ever since getting BTFO by superior Australian banter they've been trying to save face by attempting to out-shitpost their intellectual superiors, much to the detriment of other countries on the board who are inundated with their unfunny trash.
Something needs to be done about them. I don't know, maybe set up a comedy workshop for them, but please do something.
