Are they back as of yesterday? Have the mods stopped autosaging them?
i just want the indefinite ban of these threads and just ban the faggots who keep posting them under different names
Why autosage? Why not just delete?
>>529200
Are you from /g/, and how do the existence of Desktop threads negatively impact your browsing experience?
Can I suggest that the word "shill" is automatically filtered to "friend".
I swear, some boards, especially /v/, you can't talk positively about any modern game without being called a shill. I don't know if its because people actually think there are advertisers on /v/, but it leads to and is interpreted as shitposting 100 percent of the time.
>>528565
Only on /v/.
It makes sense for somebody on, say, /pol/ to call somebody a shill, since they've been under constant barrage by reddit autismos trying to convert them to "muh sanders" (and have you seen /r/4chan?) thus the term applies justly.
On /v/? Over a fucking videogame? Nah, they're even bigger spergs than /pol/.
>inb4 capital I in lieu of lowercase L
Got this shit and was redirected when in an archived thread on my phone. It also appeared when testing on a few other devices.
What the fuck is this? Why do archived threads lesd to malvertising?
>>528441
Behind that little overlay is a fake google page saying "how many viruses I have"
I am aware we had ads like this on the front page in November, but still?
There is no reason 4chan should have ads like this.
Nothing beats s4s amirite?

I bet you aren't even a girl

Well you have about a 49% chance of being right but I guess you'll never know :D
OK, third time trying to post this without internet fucking up
>Who is Alphonse
Cancer incarnate. An extremely active shitposter who primarly posts on /o/ but has been seen on /fit/ and other boards. I'll let his own posts do the talking. And this is just when he posts with a name. If you see a /o/ related image, it's shitposting. There is no need to explain it. It's just pure shitposting.
http://archive.4plebs.org/o/search/username/alphonse/
Now, why the fuck was a thread asking for some SIMPLE FUCKING RULE ENFOREMENT deleted from /qa/? I know it didn't hit the bump limit, it showed up as deleted on thread watcher.
If the mods were able to notice a thread and delete it, why have they not range banned him? The amount of post reports coming from /o/ would be reduced drastically, and it could actually be a nice little hobby board and not /v/ with cars.
Oh yeah, and he floods the board on occasion.
cry more.

Increase the post cooldown globally to 200 seconds.
Disable (You) and the red notification icon.
Remove backlinks as a default option.
Also replace the backlinks with threading.

Bumping for good ideas.

>Disable (You) and the red notification icon.
Why? (You)s feed my hunger for interaction with other people.
We really really need to delete /pol
Agreed because you posted Armin, literally the only good thing about that show.
Further evidnde that 4Chan is under attack from the sjew mob
mods pls sticky
>>527155
We should delete you
I've been wondering something for a while. Why is it that, to some people on this board, the use of the word "boogeyman" is seen as indication of being a newfag? I can't figure out any logic behind this claim, so it just sounds like a non-sequitur. Or perhaps you think only certain people could possibly use the word boogeyman? Which is a fallacy of its own.
More than anything, it seems to me that people don't like being told that the threat they believe in is not real, and so they will do anything to deny that fact.
>>521675
You need to realize you can dismiss any argument by calling someone a newfag or a reddit, you newfag reddit.
>>521686
Interesting, because generally whenever someone attempts that, people ignore that idiot and keep having a discussion.
>>521687
gb2reddit newfag

So 8gag is apparently shitting itself and is going to lose a ton more users due to a drama involving the new owner and mods. What are your thoughts on this?

This image was cause for a ban for global rule 3, and was THE ONLY ONE IN THE THREAD to be deleted.
https://boards.fireden.net/tg/thread/47108901/#47118925
This image, posted by a different anon, was totally fine.
https://boards.fireden.net/tg/thread/47108901/#47188942
Please explain precisely in what way the former image broke global rule 3 and the latter did not. Please draw a line. Please teach me how to avoid being banned for actions that are evidently not against any rules unless I'm the one doing them.
>don't break rules
It is impossible to follow a rule that is unknown.
The sequence of words written on the rules page does not accurately describe which images are bannable and which aren't. Empirical observation of the mods' decisions only suggests that the content of the image itself is not important.
As it stands, different people are treated differently for doing the exact same thing. Once the mods have a grudge against an IP address, they will ban that IP address on sight simply because they can.
I don't even remember what I did to start this grudge.
If my actions are irrelevant to my punishment, what incentive do I have to change them?
>moderation is inconsistent, what else is new
A rule that only applies to people the mods don't like is useless and more damaging than no rule at all.
Please consider clarifying the written rules, so that anons can tell when they're going too far and have the option to restrain themselves.
I find it disgusting that you take pride in such an inevitability and openly encourage it, instead of promising to mitigate it as best you can, even if you really won't.
>complaining is against the rules
You're not giving me much of a choice, and this issue affects many people.
>you can leave
I already have. Please explain the rule anyway, for the benefit of others.
the staff doesn't delete every rule violation. just because something slipped through, does not mean it was totally fine.
you take this site too seriously.
mods are extremely unlikely to respond, this isn't /q/.
>>532432
>the staff doesn't delete every rule violation.
But in the same thread, after every suggestive image was reported?
They had to have opened the thread and seen it was furfag central from start to finish. There's no way they could have been unaware.
>>532409
very nice image in any case!
Should IDs be on every board?
IDs are fucking stupid anyways and should be removed site wide.
